It's hard to believe that there are people who believe that you can have "too many rights", when Republicans say they have too many rights...and then want more rights when Republicans say "they're trying to take our rights away."
Why not fight for all rights of your fellow man? What sense does it make to fight against your own rights?

It is good to see Americans with genuine concerns unite for a common cause, and rally for a change..Unlike most of the Tea Party protestors, they were real protestors..The Tea Party protestors were bused to their rallies by the Koch brothers, and Dick Armey's organization (Freedom Works)..The seeds of change are starting to bloom in America...

Actually, people DID die for labor rights. Protesters were shot at, beaten, and killed for them. They were beaten and killed so that everyone could have safe working environments, livable wages, fair working hours and a number of other things that you take for granted. It hasn't escalated that far in the current protests in Wisconsin, but labor rights were historically won despite a violent opposition.
You have no idea how much a public union worker makes but yet you say that they are "overpaid and underworked".
These people are lower middle class, working class, or working poor. I don't know where you get the idea that they're living in some sort of luxury. They don't get paid all that much. What you're trying to pass off as a point is undercut by the fact that the union workers in Wisconsin have ceded to all of Walker's budget cuts and salary cuts. They simply want to retain the right to stand up for themselves in the future and he refuses to allow it.

And just what IS the American dream? Buying everything your heart desires on credit? Expecting your children and grandchildren to pay for what YOU have today? Every single one of us are guilty of expecting to get something for nothing, having someone else pay for what WE want, whether it's the government or the taxpayers (us). The American dream says we have the opportunity to have what we want if we're willing to WORK FOR IT. Whether it's the government or big business or us ourselves, we're ALL guilty of greed and expecting someone else to pick up the tab for what we have and want. The American Dream has been abused and misused until we just look at it as an entitlement.
