Fox anchors and reporters really don't like it when Madison protesters tell the truth: 'Fox News lies' | Crooks and Liars

And just maybe FOX news is taking a big viewership decline because of their obvious bias.

Here's some of the article, for the rest click on the link;
Bill O'Reilly already laid down the law at Fox -- namely, that protesters chanting "Fox News Lies" are obviously a bunch of hatemongers trying to shut down other voices. And so that was the storyline all weekend whenever Fox reporters tried to do live broadcasts from the Madison protests.

This mainly involved correspondent Mike Tobin and weekend lamestain anchor Gregg Jarrett, who could barely contain themselves over the supposed "incivility" of the Madison protests. When the chant went up Saturday, Tobin tried to minimize them:

TOBIN: Now, once again, they're chanting about Fox News -- which as we all know is really a diversion from what's going on here.

Jarrett then went on to cite a phony Rasmussen poll supposedly showing most respondents disapproving of the legislators staying out of town to fight Gov. Scott Walker's union-busting schemes -- without mentioning, of course, the polls showing strong public disapproval for Walker's actions as well.

Gee, we wonder why the crowds were chanting as they were.

It continued Sunday:

TOBIN: And you can still hear the passion of the crowds. The heckling is starting up again, the hate that you get from these demonstrators. You can see it in their faces. You can see the passion. But they all come back to the same thing every time.

I was getting the business from a teacher yesterday -- there he goes, he wants to shut down the communication. A teacher was giving me the business yesterday, and the teacher told me she hates me, because it makes her feel good. That's the situation out here, Gregg.

JARRETT: You know, Mike, I hate to put you into this situation, because you're being surrounded there, and yeah, you're being heckled, and there is profanity and vulgarity.

TOBIN: That guy just hit me.

JARRETT: Go ahead.

TOBIN: Ah, that guy just hit me. So to just let you know.

JARRETT: All right. But -- but -- you know -- why do they express such vitriol toward the media?

Memo to Jarrett: Fox News is neither synonymous with nor really even representative of "the media", especially as far as this crowd is concerned. Because the folks in Madison know -- and are giving voice to -- an important truth: Fox News is not a news organization, it is a propaganda organ.

    • I used too think most reasonable people thought like me! Cause you see I'm the most reasonable person I know. But as the years went by and the more people I have met, has showed me that there is quite a gap in what to me is considered reasonable. I have even gone so far as in talking to people about their political positions face to face on numerous occasions. Being of sound mind and a sense of humor I have concluded there are a lot of nutty people out there, and how they got nutty could be, because of a lot of factors. You have too remember most people work in a small business environment and inter-react with co workers every day and probably a boss. Who knows what influence these people have been under for 8 or 10 hours a day. In my driving experience and customer relations in delivering to various places of business I found a certain percentage of these businesses had a right wing talker on the radio. Every once in a while since I got too know quite a few of these individuals it dawned on me that they were forced to listen to it and agree probably too keep a job. These days are getting stranger all the time, compassion for your fellow man is getting squeezed to the breaking point. Still talking with people you meet does sort of let them know your the most reasonable person they have ever meet!

I know it usually was a pretty weird experience when walking into a business that had the radio on to the right. I felt sorry for a great number of people who had to listen to that crap. Don't get me wrong but many people knew where I stood and would come up too me and say don't worry I'm not with them. Don't ever forget we have the numbers on our side and we are winning them over every day!

To disagree is fine but to be condesending of others famies is over the line. In the last couple years on this site i have tried to understand the opposite point of view, may not agree, but have tried to be civil...not the same from the leftards..if you don't agree with us we will piss on you...

Doctors orders......take two more beers and chill! Current is I have to admit more one sided but when looking around the web, that's not unusual. When you enter the discussion of a topic that is revealing the untruths of one of the nations largest supposedly News organizations come armed with truth rather than denial. I truly hope you are not going to quit on us, decent is important and most of the time I think your pretty level headed!

So you end your last remark with an insult. Looks like a bit of transference.

I absolutely agree that insults are not productive we see it on both sides. I would like to see less from the left as it adds nothing to the debate. However that said, I do see much from the right in here and on every other site. When you lead from the premise of Democrat, Lefty, Socialist or Communist or what ever genetic source you imply then:

      A. That source is 100% bad with no redeeming ideas and

      B. Some random statement from someone of the left makes them one and therefor evil or some such nonsense.

You used the phrase "The left is such of arrogant bunch of aholes that only can see to they end of their own nose" This is full of prejudged assumptions. ... all of the left? Define and demonstrate arrogant. ... aholes -- nice and civil term right? How is this sentence not condescending? You should have taken the high road and given some evidence why you are leaving instead of invectives.

So when you land on your next blog, do us a favor please. Step back and look at what the right is writing as well as the left. Are they condescending, insulting and emotional or do they present a well reasoned and factual argument? You should ask yourself if you were in fact adding to the debate with facts and well reasoned argument or just making assumptions and letting your fears and emotions rule?

If it was the former, then I am sad to see you leave. I love a good debate. If you were more of the latter -- just as you claim ALL the left is, then I am glad you are going. You have nothing to contribute but slander and hateful emotions.

Come back with a good argument anytime.

    • According to Fox when it's the t-baggers chanting at a town hall it's "just people voicing their opinion". When Joe Wilson yelled out "you lie" at the president during a speech they said in an interview with him "[He] spoke out. It was an emotional moment".

But, according to Fox and friends these Americans are "obviously a bunch of hatemongers trying to shut down other voices".

Well.... Not sure what to say but...... FUCK YOU FOX.

I doubt it was with intent to injure him. But without the video it's not provable. It would be possible block the camera and hit the reporter. But without evidence it's a non story.

    • This is still one of my favorites. Jon Stewart points out that the guy they were demonizing for weeks.....the mystery WTC mosque funder who also supposedly funds terrorists....... is none other than Murdoch's partner and is the biggest shareholder in News Corp next to Murdoch.
Basically they were demonizing one of their own bosses........

While it was funny to watch Stewart expose them.....it goes to show how
they distort the truth, push their hate and fear mongering agenda and deliberately create trash tabloid stories for RATINGS and PROFITS.

      Snippets from the article....

"Everyone has already blogged on the forthcoming poll from the Dem firm Public Policy Polling, which finds major buyer's remorse in Wisconsin, with voters saying they'd support Scott Walker's opponent by 52-45 if they could hold a do-over election."

"Only 3% of the Republicans we surveyed said they voted for Barrett last fall but now 10% say they would if they could do it over again.

This is a Dem poll, but this finding -- that Republicans are turning on Walker -- is echoed by Gallup. Last week Gallup's national poll found that a startling 41 percent of Republicans oppose Walker's plan to roll back public employee bargaining rights."

Support for Walker is fading......within his own party and former voters. NICE!

Not sure if allowed by the Wisconsin constitution but they might consider a recall based on his remarks to the faux David Koch. For a Governor to even consider injecting ruffians into a peaceful crowd shows little concern for the welfare of the citizens -- both protestor and law enforcement. Someone who thinks that way does not deserve to be Governor. We have to stop looking at politics as a win-lose paradigm like a sporting event and instead see public policy through the lens of right-wrong.

If a recall is not allowed, they can do one anyway to make the point. This will send a message to other Governors who are starting to make the same noise in their state. Authoritarian rule only works if the people comply.

It is like watching a Saturday night live skit mocking the news . Now admittedly , fox has gathered a substantial audience in the past . But as time goes on , no propaganda machine can ever truly be effective . This is because the truth may be slow off the mark , but it always comes from behind to win .

      Here's what I see:

Fox's average daily viewership last week was 1.361 million whereas everyone else with a little bit more fairness and balance came in collectively at 1.512 million

Even the prime-time slot at 8pm when 3.531 million people are watching O'Reilly, 2.605 million are still watching something else saner.

Thankfully even with a max audience at 8pm weeknights, Foxed News' viewers only comprise approximately 1% of all Americans.

I guess that's how I see that cookie crumbling.....

The fact that Walker wouldn't take calls from Liberals but he took a call from a "fake" David Koch and spilled the beans about his real agenda.

The fact that the Unions agreed to make concessions but Walker said NO!

The fact that Walker had given big tax cuts to special interest groups last month and then tried to claim it was the teachers unions who were causing the budget deficit.

The fact that Walker has the selling of WI public utilities buried in his budget with no legislative or public discussion allowed and no-bidding. Only Walker gets to decide.
And Koch Industries just happens to be in the Energy Biz.....coincidence?
One article even stated that the Koch's placed a job ad for an Energy company manager with 15 years experience....
      job location.....Wisconsin!

And if you missed the part about how much the Koch's and their PAC's and front groups put into getting Walker elected.....that story is ALL over the media.
Between the direct donations, front groups and the money poured into attack ads...it was over 5 Million.

The fact that a tea party group bused in people to support Walker.
The group.......Americans for Prosperity......it was either started by or is heavily funded by the Koch's. They have their hands in so many think tanks, PAC's and front groups it hard to keep track.

The Koch's aren't just messing with WI.......they are pushing their weight around in Congress.

Koch brothers now at heart of GOP power

I have dozens of links to stories about the Koch's.....their history isn't pretty.

Almost forgot this one......it's a biggie and will effect every election in our country from now on.
The Citizens United decision....... should have been called Corporations United.
      http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/24/opinion/24dowd.html?src=me&ref=general

"Thomas and Scalia have flouted ethics rules by attending seminars sponsored by Koch Industries, an energy and manufacturing conglomerate run by billionaire brothers that has donated more than $100 million to far-right causes.
The 5-to-4 Citizens United decision last January gave corporations, foreign contributors, unions, Big Energy, Big Oil and superrich conservatives a green light to surreptitiously funnel in as much money as they want, whenever they want to elect or unelect candidates. As if that weren’t enough to breed corruption, Thomas was the only justice — in a rare case of detaching his hip from Antonin Scalia’s — to write a separate opinion calling for an end to donor disclosures."
