Each year, at the beginning of March, teachers, librarians and parents come together to remind children of the joy of reading, as inspired by Dr. Seuss.

    • My daughter is 6 and I have read to her everyday. I have not pushed her to read, but now she is just realizing she can read the Dr. Seuss books with very limited help. There is nothing more special then watching a child become empowered.

Such a low percent :( Kill the television. The thing I hate worst about TV aimed at children is that it does not trigger the child's own imagination. A story and one little picture allows for multiple plays of action in a child's mind. It is stimulating!
