Thanks For The Bailout Suckers; GM to invest extra $540 million in Mexico to build motors

-

The latest project for GM in Mexico would create 500 direct and another 500 indirect jobs in its plant in Toluca, Calderon said.
GM has four plants in Mexico, and has invested some $5 billion here since 2006, Calderon said.
GM was left reeling by an industry slump when the global economic crisis hit. It received 49.5 billion dollars from the US Treasury and emerged from a bankruptcy restructuring in 2009.
It successfully returned to public trading last November by raising 23.1 billion dollars in an initial stock offering — the largest in history.

Car manufactures have done a good job of diversifying their production of parts and automobile assembly. When Toyota and Datsun/Nissan started selling big in the USA they were concerned they would lose their market share because their automobiles were mainly manufactured in Japan so they built plants in the USA and other places in the world. They had a large campaign in the USA around 1987 - 88 to promote all of the different counties that participated in the manufacturing of their automobiles. Like wise the American car companies have done the same.
Honda and Toyota have factories in the U.S. that employ American citizens. Similarly, Ford, GM and Chrysler all have factories in India, Japan and some European countries that employ citizens of those countries. No car company is truly "all-American" anymore. And no car company is truly all-foreign.
This is one situation where it is impossible to buy “all-American”.

They should have gone into bankruptcy. This is why we shouldn't do taxpayer bailouts for any corporation. People don't understand that under chapter 11 bankruptcy companies can reorganize and sell off assets. Who knows, we might have had a new company, run by people that aren't corrupt and incompetence.People that could have bought up GM's plants and made cars.

If Clinton hadn't signed NAFTA this wouldn't have happened. If Obama hadn't bailed out GM this wouldn't have happened. Let failing companies fail. Someone who knows how to run a company will buy it, pick up the pieces and make it successful.
Or could this have anything to do with the need to save money since GM union workers who are laid off get paid 80% of their normal income? **

That is hard to do since the auto building business is such an international venture. There is a Nissan Plant near my home that employs mostly Tennesseans and something like 80% of the parts they use are made in America. Does this qualify them as an American made auto?
The injection molded dashboard in almost every American car was made in Canada. I'm not sure about now but several years ago the motors for the Chevy S-10 were all made in Japan by Isuzu Motors.
I personally drive a Korean made Hyundai for several reasons, I like the gas mileage, I love the warranty and the sticker price was affordable. I am retired on a fixed income and will consider an American made car when one is made that I can afford.

VW builds about 50% of their cars in Mexico that will be sold in the US. I purchased a new VW Jetta in 2000 and it was made in Mexico. With in 3months, the car stopped running and VW could not explain why. I tech at VW joked and said that mine was made in Mexico. VW did replace my car with a new 2001 model made in Germany and I had no problems at all.
I predict the large US car companies will move all production to Mexico within 10 years.

I say we start a company from scratch. Don't spend our cash during the elections on politicians. Coordinate and open a new automobile company from scratch, with all aspects held to the finest quality.
Make it a not for profit publicly owned company, pay the Union assemblers a fair wage, all parts making could be farmed out cottage industries using small US machine shops.
Then sell the car at cost plus enough for R&D. Their are enough unemployed and new engineers as well as unemployed auto industry workers. For those cars already made, start reverse engineering and making Made in USA aftermarket parts, better than the originals. - 1 year ago

We could invest in depressed areas like Detroit. Then utilizing Cad-Cam, new composites, brilliant engineers and hardworking US taxpayers with drive and fortitude this could be the start of something big.

Get Real? Okay. Is there anything more real than air and water? Without them life stops, your life stops, real. As in Real Fast you would be dust.
I was planning the engine to blow the air standards away. The engine would first fill with steam, creating a low pressure in the cylinder => a semi-vacuum. Then a drop of compressed air is injected into that SEMI-VACUUM so that the single drop of liquid air instantly EXPLODES from its 4,361 pounds per square inch.
Slamming the piston head with a Bible thumper's Bible, without combustion, an explosion without any pollutants produced at all.
But as I was dispatched to be quiet ~since my ideas were "micro"~ I stopped writing. Then you came in insinuating I was an idiot without any brains, without knowing such an EPA-burying engine is possible. Nice.
You can have a horsepower-blowing engine running on properly-combined air and water (in the steam pre-kicker) behind that bulldog. But first we need a BUSINESS MODEL, to hell with the engine puff puff blow your nose NOW. hahaha You guys kill me.

Watch Out! More REAL incoming!
And when the drop of liquid air super cold at minus 320 degrees begins blasting into expansion the COLD makes the H2O in the steam COLLAPSE IN SIZE, making even MORE VACUUM **** for the decompressing air to explode into **** in an INSTANT-IN-TIME EXPLOSION. => Horsepower is calculated including a time variable, and since NO TIME of any significance is elapsing in this explosion it means HORSEPOWER GOES OFF THE SCALE.
What that means? It means a very tiny amount of steam and air need be produced to make this natural combined "fuel".
Or, it could also mean is that a JW who studies and knows Bible Prophecies isn't a Physics retard (like you would like all Bible believers on Earth to be) who doesn't care about his fellow sojourners on Planet Earth. => Real is more real than you know. Real is the Paradise coming. Let me throw out a simple question. I have been on disability 21 years so my influence with bankers is lacking, but I've been public publishing this engine since 2003. WHO'S THE RETARDS FOR NOT RUNNING THE BALL I LAUNCHED? =>
Well, since the country has been cannon-loaded with people like YOU turned against the Bible, and against God many times also, then I was publishing to a country full of disbeliever retards.Your great achievement so far in rejecting my miracle-class car engine has been the BP Deepwater Horizon Gulf of Mexico near destruction of the planet. =>
WHO'S THE RETARDS FOR NOT RUNNING THE BALL I LAUNCHED?
WHO'S THE RETARDS FOR NOT RUNNING THE BALL I LAUNCHED?
WHO'S THE RETARDS FOR NOT RUNNING THE BALL I LAUNCHED? =>ATHEISTS? Atheists are a minority. The answer goes much deeper than that. In 1914 a time period in the Bible mentioned by Jesus found at Luke 21 vs 24 called the "times of the nations" expired. That year had been a very peace-filled summer. WHY? Because Satan and his demons were not here! They had left, and people felt a great peace. WHERE DID THE DEMON ANGELS GO? They were in battle with Christ Jesus in heaven so their influence here disappeared. They lost the battle recorded at Revelation Ch. 12 in detail telling they were thrown down here and trapped, no longer having access to heaven. WHAT ELSE HAPPENED? Jesus was sitting on his throne and ruling over the kingdom of God.
=> But the Bible writer John left something out. =>
When Satan found himself trapped here he also set up a kingdom to rule mankind! WHAT DID HE DO? Well, he did something very similar to what Jesus was doing => Satan began giving certain chosen men insights into the future what they were to do. And those men were watching for me well in advance of 2003. They knew I would be inspired to make a number of really great NON-EMISSIONS ENGINES THAT WOULD GIVE GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST AND PEACE AMONG ALL MEN => IF THEY BUT LISTENED TO THAT ONE MAN. =>
So they started laying traps for me to stop me. They began making more people bipolar nuts since I would be bipolar, to cast doubt on "the crazy man" that he could design a real engine of such a magnificent calibre. There were other traps but basically they all were put in place against me BEFORE I FIXED THE ENGINES. =>
WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? They are the Anti-Christ except another trap was also being laid too, that all the major religions would be misleading people looking for a SINGLE ONE MAN to be the Anti-Christ when in fact it is this GROUP OF MEN who make a Group Political Anti-Christ, but when the "religions" (primarily Catholic & Protestant) declared their one man Anti-Christ theology what they were really accomplishing was laying a groundwork and a very solid foundation of hatred towards ANY ONE MAN LIKE ME so when I did come along I would be automatically discounted on the level of a HERETIC. =>
So that people would automatically cry foul to any one man. You aren't really living under the US government now because it is being run by Satan's kingdom of men having great knowledge above the rest of you and also above me. But, you refuse to admit it. You keep thinking you can write your congressmen and get action, initiate changes, >>>>>
You assume they have to listen to you but that's wrong too. They listen to their children's heart still beating and they want their children alive tomorrow, probably even promised a great reward will be given them and their families, a protection promise even Obama did not resist. =>
Your crummy little needs, your children not being correctly taught, your puny cries of your State and Local desires going unfulfilled, your need for health care and dental care and care taken of your elderly and sick, your needing jobs and housing and decent standards of learning~teaching, decent standards of living, NONE OF THAT AMOUNTS TO THE VALUE OF YOUR LAST TOILET VISIT.

As for men flying into Outer Space well, a few of us have, and one thing I have seen become painfully clear is how Satan dangles space flight like a carrot in everybody's face nyah nyah nyah na nah you can't have it. The bad guys control who is allowed to go into space.
You may not know this but there's a way, discovered by Nikolai Tesla, a drive system that lifts people gently off the ground. No bone-crushing involved, no needing to be YOUNG and in super health. I believe they have had a system that would lift old people into space by the DROVES and gently.
They hoard it to themselves. It makes a great carrot to insult people with.
In the Fall of 2007 while surfing the Internet I came across Tesla's last papers and read about his anti-gravity system, and also some other stuff too, and by that night Jehovah blessed me to understand his system. He used a lightning drive. Not many people would have understood what he did, but I did because in 1989 I came to understand how to power this planet with its abundant lightning.
Another system I also had that day & into the night was truly Glorious, a system for using the oceans combined with a new type of solar power to get water and electricity delivered into the deep continents. You should re-consider. The future is going to be AWESOME living in the light and favor of such a God who made this planet in such a marvelous way.

Politics is all about posturing to bate and switch the public. We live in this artificial world created by PR firms. It's like playing music to the cows moving down the line to the slaughter. Most recent swindles are the gas price increases and the doubling of food prices (food prices didn't seem to rise that much when gas was $5/gal not to long ago). All created by corporate and banking scum. It is kinda ironic that our Arab brothers have been gouging on oil prices and the oil price increase is being proffered as the reason for the rise in the food prices which is the main reason our Arab and Muslim brothers and sisters are going off the rails and finally pushed so far that they are actually overthrowing their governments. Next week in Mecca. Let the Bush buddy Saudis feel the sting of consequence for their greed and stupidity. Meanwhile NAFTA and globalization are taking their toll. Can't "Buy American" cause we ain't making it here anymore. And since we are essentially post industrial and mainly service credit, we are building and living in a house of cards. Good listen is http://www.cbc.ca/ideas/episodes/2011/02/28/the-scapgoat-rene-girards-anthropolo... Definite sign of intelligent life.

Hmm, that's too many hurdles to jump. Slap an extra Sales Tax on foreign company products to cover our health care (pay directly into healthcare) That has meat on the bones. Your tariff way there's too many "middle men" who would lay their hands into it.
Buying their products would then be granting

a flat tax would reek of protectionism and seriously injure relations with exporting countries(You don't wanna piss off Germany ;)).
A much more fair approach would be taxing the individual reasons why production is so much cheaper. If there are legitimate reasons like closeness to natural resources, then the cheaper production is a natural part of capitalism.
But if the reasons violate human rights or other common laws like violence against animals and child labour they should be heavily taxed.
It'd be difficult but also fair. - 1 year ago

I'm not talking about taxing the Hell out of products made by foreign companies. I'm talking about taxing the double Hell out of American companies that set up shop in foreign countries and then ship the crap back to us. Did your fifty dollar Levis drop in price when they started making them in Mexico? No, they just don't fit right anymore.

Not going to happen until we have public funding of elections. All that can afford to run presently are corporate whores. The minute they get elected they start pandering to the corporations for money for the next election.

If this is the same Andrew Breitbart who reported on this story who was involved in the Shirley Sherrod fiasco then, Breitbart isn't very credible.
And I scoured the webspehere and couldn't find any real MSM reporting on this story.

Ah,er, Motors? Really? The last time I checked, a "Motor" was an electrical device, and an "Engine" was run by internal combustion. Kinda like the difference between an apple fritter, and a bear claw.

from Merriam-Webster:
Definition of MOTOR
1: one that imparts motion; specifically : prime mover
2: any of various power units that develop energy or impart motion: as
a : a small compact engine
b : internal combustion engine; especially : a gasoline engine
c : a rotating machine that transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy
3: motor vehicle; especially : automobileAside from that, whatever GM or MLC received from the government for a bailout and is used outside the country should be repaid to the Treasury. That won't happen of course because the American middle class has not been sufficiently bled to death. There still appears to be some live left in Wisconsin.
