SC rejects Aruna Shanbaug's Mercy Killing Petition

The Supreme Court on Monday rejected the mercy killing petition of the bed-ridden Aruna Shanbaug, who is in coma stage at Mumbai's King Edward Memorial Hospital since 1973. The apex court, however, spoke in favour of passive euthanasia.
