Nier was released on April 27, 2010 to some mixed reviews amongst critics. The game got high marks on storyline and detail but was panned for graphics and visual effects. Overall, the game looks really good and with a Metacritic score of 68/100 it’s not something to pass up just because of some lousy reviews.
