A Princeton WV police officer who claimed state police instructors had been excessively rough with him during training, causing him to suffer a blood clot in his brain, has now been arrested by state police who claim that he had attempted to coerce a 17-year-old boy into giving him oral sex in exchange for letting him go after he was arrested.

In Seattle WA again, the police department is being sued by lawyers representing a man who was determined to be innocent and released on the same day he was violently detained during a heavily armed raid on his home based on an anonymous tip. The suit isn’t directly about the raid, but the apparent efforts by police to hide information about what happened via their refusal to release requested documents. Even though police insist the man was innocent, they are hiding the information by claiming the case is still the subject of a criminal investigation of some sort.

Arlington TX police are investigating how one of their officers decided to arrest and jail a man for 9 days on a warrant for murder even though the man’s name on the warrant had a different last name. The officer insists he called to verify that the man’s license ID number matched the subject of the warrant but, oddly, the man in the warrant had no license because he was an illegal immigrant. They insist the officer did the right thing.

The Mount Laurel NJ police department is part of a lawsuit that includes county prosecutors alleging they falsely arrested and prosecuted a man for having locked and unloaded legal firearms in his trunk. The suit also alleges that police illegally searched his car when they found the guns that he had legally obtained.
