Kansas State Rep. Virgil Peck (R) suggested Monday that the best way to deal with the illegal immigration problem may be the same way the state might deal with the problem of "feral hogs" -- by shooting them from a helicopter.

The state's House Appropriations Committee was debating financing for controlling the feral swine problem, the Lawrence Journal World reports, when one legislator suggested the problem could be handled by shooting them from helicopters. Peck offered: "It looks like to me if shooting these immigrating feral hogs works maybe we have found a [solution] to our illegal immigration problem."

Scott Rothschild of the Journal World reports Peck as saying, when asked about the comment, that he was just joking:

Asked about his comment, Peck was unapologetic. "I was just speaking like a southeast Kansas person," he said.
He said most of his constituents are extremely upset with illegal immigration and the state and federal government response.

He said he didn't expect any further controversy over his comment. "I think it's over," he said.

So give illegals amnesty for the crimes they have already committed and reward them further with unrestricted citizenship to boot.       My claims of Right + Left = One has been said in many comments. Tell me. What's the difference between Bush and Obama. Bush started it and Obama continued it. No matter what "it" is, that's the order in which it happened. Obama and Bush both are puppets. Obama is much better spoken, but a puppet none the less. Like I said.     • I think he only proposed this because the Pecker didn't hear about the NY Organ Donor Network's solution - taking the organs & body parts of an illegal immigrant kid after the mother's refusal to consent & with no anesthesia - an actual case in the Bronx. Now they're pushing for "presumed consent" to confiscate all our organs without consent & call it a "donation".       I like this idea and it reminds a Star Trek episode "Mirror/Mirror" where Kirk, Spock, Uhura and Scotty switch universes with their evil twins. Upon returning home someone asked how they survived while their evil counterparts were outed so quickly.       There is this huge sense of betrayal I keep feeling, perhaps I just started out naive. You remember in high school and college when we were taking American history courses and being taught how bullet proof the constitution was, how there were supposed to be so many built in mechanisms to prevent the public office from being bought and sold. I learned about laws related to monopolizing, they were supposed be in place to protect us from this stuff.

      Then throughout all my early adulthood I'm thinking about the Mansanto Corporation, and all these airplane mergers, and huge pharmaceutical mergers, insurance company mergers ...I just kept telling myself there must be something I know nothing about, after all I was a drop out and history was never my favorite subject; OUR government wouldn't let this happen to us, we have the constitution to protect us!

      I'm so sad and disillusioned over all the blatant corruption and hypocrisy.

      I'm sick of tip toeing around immoral liars and thieves, why can't we call them out for what they are. Liar, hypocrite, thief, immoral they're all still words in the dictionary. Of course they may be removed some day out of fear from implication.

      Try to keep it civil, I feel your pain and your anger. My children and grandchildren are Hispanic and I feel every attack on Hispanics as an attack on my family. It hurts, it makes me angry, I want to lash out too; but we won't win any awards for turning into one of them.       I'm sorry for being abrasive, but when is someone going to put these people into place? When they finally shoot someone? When they kill someone? Haven't we learned from previous mistakes? From people that are this hateful, that they actually do something eventually?

      No, i'm not going to stop. If someone wants to have a civil conversation, sure let's do it. But i grew up around racism from white folks. Cops, teachers, bosses and so on.. when do they learn? or do they get a pass because they are "old" or in our government? The only reason why i don't hate all white folks, is because a white lady took me into her home and showed me love. That's all she knew and she showed how special it was when my parents, working 24/7, weren't around. Because of her, i like to help people. Because of her, i like to help all races, not just one.... Because of her, I'm not walking around like Malcom X saying "all whites are devils" I give everyone and i mean everyone, the benefit that they are good people and if i can help them, i will.

      I look at it like this, human hybrids like animal and plant hybrids are genetically weak and inferior. They can be bred for certain characteristics but well rounded they're not. For instance: pure bred dogs are aggressive, live shorter lives have more health problems; likewise, hybrid plants are impotent unable to propagate a dying species from sprout. LOL

      Let's just hope these crazies breed themselves out of existence.
