Earthquake in Afghanistan & Phillipines think Mother Earths Upset !?

figgdimension
Seriously these "natural" disasters have to be from something, Iceland Volcano,Haiti,Christchurch,Australia,Japan,,Phillipines, and now Afghanistan?? ...uhhhh.. I dunno think the Earth Mother is showing what she "could" do...? If she wanted she could wipe us out and be a paradise again... I think she may just be mulling it over hear her grumbling and spitting . i think we need to take some drastic action or we will suffer her wrath much more this is insane!!! i forgot the floods and mudslides and prob. more let me know lets compile a list and see for ourselves they keep coming to mind now that I think about it creepy ....Better lay down arms and live in peace w/nature i think we all need a day of mourning and reflection I am deeply effected and so many have died or lost so much of their lives and dignity ...but we go on creating more death more destruction we are bringing it on ourselves ....When Earth is saying we have enough uncontrollable forces in this Unknown Universe we must live in peace and harmony with Nature and each other or everything else is lost ...Please cease fire all over the world lets bury the ones that are already dead (before making anymore tragedy and misery) and find those missing NOW !!! humanitarian aid and peace missions only starting now DAY of MOURNING

    • If you look at a map of the world's tectonic plates, you can see that the earthquakes occurring are all where two plates collide and there is some uplifting, subduction, or slip-strike occurring.

I don't think there is anything magical in these latest occurrences. Indeed, when you look at a global plate-tectonic map, I think it's surprising we don't have more frequent earthquakes, especially near Afghanistan-India-Nepal.

    • It seems more destructive and pervasive but maybe im just a humanist and I care when other humans who are unaware and usually helpless against these great forces I just think rather than add to the dead with more wars and pollution and nuclear lets take a moment and honor our fallen ones thats all

That's a soul-wrenching video to watch. Those fellas out there digging through the ruins searching for bodies, you know they are hungry but there they are, doing the work.

It would be awesome having people like that for neighbors. If I was in ruins and rubble I think they'd maybe put up a sign "At the bottom here lies a big man" and then build a new Trade Center over me with some really stupid looking, please-everybody generic design.

My 2-battery wireless mouse was sometimes sending 4 & 5 copies of mail. I switched to a Logitech and it mostly stopped. Once or twice it has sent 2 since I changed.

Good post. Jabbing the planet and bleeding it of its "blood" maybe isn't the best idea we ever had. Sometimes a patient will reach up and cold cock the doctor.

haha You're most welcome. We seem to be getting cold cocked every day and it is getting old here also. Where I live we haven't been hit with any of it. I think the Devil's people live here.

And they of course think I'm the Devil. Must be too many devils around here scares off the quakes and floods, and rain it sends that down to Al Gore in Nashville.
