3/10/11 - The Hedz-Up Report covers the contentious community meeting co-sponsored by Community Boards 2 & 4,"Assess Your Access: Healthcare in the Wake of St. Vincent's Closure." Further charging the atmosphere is the bombshell news, announced earlier in the day, of the Rudin family's $260 million deal w/ the bankrupt St. Vincent's Hospital. Plans call for the construction of a state-of-the-art "comprehensive care center," across the street from the shuttered SVH. The hospital's main building would be converted into condos.
