    • i can't wrap my head around how as time goes on and the death toll rises the MISSING toll continues to grow.

      they aren't missing before? how is this possible as more time goes on for people to be found or reconnected to their family-- and as bodies are found and identified (is that the difference?) how do more and more people get categorized as missing?

      godspeed to the japanese, i think a Tokyo could have handled it and overcome more easily, but i feel bad for all the poor-ish, less educated (resulting in less opportunities for their life choices) farmers losing everything.
