Here we have a perfectly unlawful decision. The Law of a Dictatorship that now exists in Wisconsin. Your voice, your vote or the right to speak out is all gone with the wind.
Next for Wisconsin aside from one ruling Party is the Right to govern his people with force and by the gun barrel, just like Panamanian strongman General Manuel Noriega.
The Republican establishment is acting more like a Dictatorship of governing than allowing people to voice their concerns. Really soon here in America if Republicans take over the country by force your rights will be history and we will be living just like North Korea with no rights, and if you voice your concerns… to the gallows!!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/25/wisconsin-union-law-publi_n_840870.html

MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin law taking away collective bargaining rights that a court had ordered not to be published by the secretary of state has been published instead by the Legislative Reference Bureau.

The action was noted on the Legislature's home page Friday. It's not immediately clear whether the publication has the force of law. But if legally published, the law takes effect Saturday.

A judge last week issued a temporary restraining order blocking Secretary of State Doug La Follette from publishing the law.

But the Reference Bureau says it's required to publish every new law within 10 working days after it's signed by the governor.

Gov. Scott Walker signed the collective bargaining measure March 11.

Walker's office says the administration will carry out the law as required.

    • The one-year recall waiting period makes no sense- an idiot like Walker can do a LOT of damage in a year! There has to be another way to get him out now.

I have stated in my own writing many times, the problem with stifling or in any way controlling or curtailing language, is that you end up doing the same thing with ideas, because ideas come from language, and as for as that treasonous fucking snake Walker is concerned, I would like to use a situation that occurred in China just a couple years ago to illustrate a point.

Some of you will remember the owner (or maybe he was the plant manager?) of a Chinese company that sells pet food to the United States got into trouble with Chinese authorities, after it was discovered that his pet food was killing pets in the United States, what Chinese authorities discovered, was that this person was supplementing the ingredients of the pet food, with fillers and toxic materials, to stretch the product and therefore maximize profit, in other words, he was simply doing the same kind of shit that American companies do all the time, taking a page from the capitalist, to maximize profits at all times.

Once the Chinese authorities have discovered he had done this, there was no paparazzi with dozens and dozens of film crews following him around for weeks on end. There were not weeks and weeks of hearings, and a trial that was drug out for many months or even years, once it was conclusively determined exactly what he had done, they unceremoniously took him behind the building, and put a bullet in his brain, end of story.

What's important to understand however, is the reason why this was done. He was not killed because he got his greedy hands caught in the cookie jar, he was not killed in other words so much for being a greedy capitalist, he was killed for something both the Chinese and Japanese have zero tolerance for, treason.

In short, in real terms, modern China economically behaves much like modern Japan, and the way they operate is that to the rest of the world they are capitalist, but at home (unlike in America, where your average wealthy person never met a potential tax break they didn't like, and would sell their sister as a sexual slave if they thought they could get one) they are pretty much socialist, and trust (particularly in Japan) and even respect their government, because they have enough brains to understand, that any government, that is controlled by greed and corruption is doomed. So any act of treason is nipped in the bud.

They understand, that what he did looked very bad on China in the eyes of the world market, ergo, that of course would potentially negatively affect Chinese, who could have difficulty selling pet food to the world, because of one greedy asshole, because he did something to deleteriously affect his fellow Chinese, that is treason, which got him a bullet in the brain.

There's an old saying, that as long as you act with a child, you'll be treated as a child, and that's exactly what the average American is treated like, a fucking self-centered, low expectation, child. This is something that I've been saying over and over again for quite some time now, it's not enough that you round up all the crooks and either put them in jail or hang them, if you don't change the rules of the game, (rules? what fucking rules?) the same predictable stupid shit is going to happen over and over again, Walker should be in jail minimum, and a whole hell of a lot of others from Wall St. as well- all monies and properties "acquired" by such criminals and their criminal actions and enterprises needs to be confiscated and liquidated and put back into the economy, which requires the creation of a national banking system, but I won't go into that now- if you're going to be led around like a dumb fucking Cow, there's one thing you can definitely count on, you and this nation will always be led to the slaughter. And that's the bottom line. I remain V.

To all vacuous villains despair and dismay, remember remember the 1st of May!

Once again, I like/love what you say, the question is how to bring about the change without alienating the Public.
It is, after all, the Public of those two countries that support the outcomes you point to.

Thanks good to see you again, I need a little time to think that over a bit, but you're absolutely right public opinion is vital, but I also believe that it's vital to have the support of the 800 pound gorilla in the room that nobody wants to talk about, the police and the military, after all, that's the first ones that are called on buy these treasonous bastards to protect them from the consequences of angry citizens who are tired of being raped and fucked with by them, any of your thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

PS-I asked you a question about an earlier post but never heard from you, you were presenting some facts concerning the American colonial period and I asked you what your information source was, never got an answer, I'm still curious.

Excellent post, V. I did hear about that Chinese guy that was shot in the head for putting poisonous ingredients in pet food.....not to mention Halloween candy and baby formula..both contained Melamine. Wouldn't that be refreshing if this country did the same with the Loyd Blankfeins, Don Blankenships and Scott Walker's of this country?

    • The best weapon Walker and others like him has against the people is the very political correctness that has helped America evolve intellectually, psychologically, and emotionally, many generations beyond the normal pace. The etiquette police won't even let us talk about violence, and anyone who perpetrates a violent act, even for a just cause, is fashionably in the wrong regardless of circumstances, which means no sympathy from a jury.

Net neutrality died years ago- from the very first time a private website owner was allowed to dictate the terms of use. I should be able to state publicly that Scott Walker is an unmitigated CUNT who deserves to be dragged out of his office in broad daylight and beaten to a pulp with whatever tools of the trade the nearby union members happen to have in their possession at the time. If teachers want to do something special to him with a flagpole, the first amendment allows me to cheer them on in giving Walker an enthusiastic ass-reaming he will never forget.

Unfortunately, if the owners of Current don't like it, I'm toast, and other users of this site will not only avoid such statements themselves, but will likely tone down their rhetoric even more than necessary "just to be safe". THIS is how we develop a populace that is cowed and cowardly, beaten down by the illusion of "good taste".

Let's not forget how deluded the Bible-thumpers on the right have been over their own illusion of "family values". We cannot and should not legislate taste, nor allow others to enforce de facto legislation by imposing their own arbitrary restrictions on expression. We need to be able to openly discuss the matters of the day, and the necessary actions that may attend them, in an open, unfiltered dialogue. The media draws its income from the people, and in return, they owe us our dignity in the freedom to be undignified. Someone needs to fucking KICK SCOTT WALKER'S WORTHLESS ASS!!!

Yes, we are supposed to stay civil and obedient while the right-wing bastardizes the constitution to get their way. If we ever let our anger out at the exact moment Scott Walker stepped out into public realm, he would most certainly regret the path he has taken to strip the working class of their rights and dignity. • This guy may think he is slick but he will go down to recall. I truly think that he is not too bright. He has only served to awaken the labor movement out of its slumber. Maybe he thinks that by taking the hit, which will surely come, that he will be rewarded later by being pushed into the national scene as a candidate. I can’t think of any other reason than extreme arrogance for him to be so stupid. Our mayor in New York City, Michael “Richie Rich” Bloomberg, has similar political suicidal tendencies with his attacks on unions, but he is a lame duck. There are rumors of his intended run for the presidency also. In his case, as in Walker’s, there is the image creation of being tough on unions that they probably both believe will put them in good stead with the red state Republican hardliners. The Republicans right now are in open conflict for factional supremacy, who knows how that will turn out.

Scott Walker is the product of a failure to get out the vote, protect the vote " if stolen". We saw this when the supreme court appointed Bush. Wisconsin, Ohio and other states are experiencing a failure to vote. From now on the vote will be supressed and the vote counters will be working for the governor, not the people.

I would suggest moving out of the area if possible. If you are young enough, go to Canada and don't come back. I am going to encourage my children to leave the US. Soon this country will and I believe is already corporate state. I don't want my children to fight thier entire life to eek out a living.

You are absolutely right. Had the democrats not squandered their control of congress by pandering to corporate/Republican interests and rammed through good legislation, the voting democrats would have been out in droves. Instead there was a huge amount of democrat voter apathy, resulting in total nut-jobs totally bought and paid for elected to important jobs. My own state, Idaho is a prime example of a budding conservative oligarthy hell bent on regressing back to the middle ages. Liberals are few and far between here but there's a conservative under every rock.

I also have been advising all young people I know to consider moving to Europe. The war between the haves and have-nots in this country is going to take a major revolution to change and it will take decades to fight, (if it is going to be fought at all ). Don't waste your lives fighting a system that is geared to strip you of all hope and wealth you may have.
Our forefathers left Europe for a chance at a better life. Nothing wrong with taking our own grand or great gandfathers or great-great grandfathers advise and going back home. The corporations have us by the balls and the future is looking pretty dim!

You're right in so many soul-crushing ways.
Even though I am about as fully insulated from the tragic coup that overtaken America as anyone can get, I've come to the see the U.S. (a country I love) as nothing more than an conquered province.
The United States, once one of the most beautiful countries on earth, is now so badly pillaged, that, at best, among those who understand what has happened it's devolved to nothing more than a possible site for occasional secondary or vacation home that takes advantage of the bargains in human labor surrounding it.
If you are of working age, or have children, and plan a future for them, you have to honestly recognize the full magnitude of the the situation.
The fact is that the U.S. is a country that has been so fully looted and stripped of it's basic institutions that they no longer function in any real sense in service to its population.
If you one of the tiny minority that owns and strips the natural and human resources of the country you have no problem. You are as secure as any other jefe in his high-walled compound in any third world state.
The huge majority of people in the U.S. now are complete bondage; bond by personal debt and system erected to kept them isolated, impotent, and ignorant.
To be fair, I'm not entirely sure that's not the way of the world. I've seen this in the majority of countries I've traveled in and know well.
There may be a cure for this or may not be, but I know that if one is being realistic about having a future that is self-determined, and has a continuing possibility of positive change,
you need to look outward from the United States.
If I were an adolescent or had fewer things to protect I might stay and fight the power. As it is, I feel lucky to have an alternative.

^'d This is definitely an intimidation tactic. Traffic fines are so high, that many people lose their driver's licenses, and they can't just go get a state ID, because of the fear of being arrested for an outstanding warrant for a failure to appear. Lack of money ends up costing them their right to vote. My license has been expired for two years. There is nothing I can do about it right now. I'm out of work due to a serious illness and don't have the money to clean up my tickets. If I'm denied at the polls, I guarantee you will hear about it on the news because I will leap over the table and beat the shit out of someone. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. The new GOP strategy is to get your man in, have him ram through his agenda despite what the people want, and get out. Laws and constitution be damned. Walker of course will be recalled next January at which point he go to work for one of his masters.

The audacity of what this corporate tool is doing is stunning. The GOP doesn't even feel the need to hide what they're up to anymore. All I can think is "go ahead morons, keep it up." Because when the people have had enough it's going to get very ugly, very quickly

Many here have called for SCOTUS Justice Thomas to be imnpeached due to his conflict of interest in a case, I believe the Citizens United. Do these same people feel this way about Sumi. Paratus, you're (again) you're comparing apples and oranges. Clarence Thomas wife has, over the years, received $680,000 from the Heritage Foundation. Something he and she could have refused due to the impression of a conflict of interest. Judge Sumis "son" is an official for the SEIU. What a persons offspring decides to do with their career is, in the end, their decision, not their parents. Get it? A valid comparison would be if Judge Sumis's husband had received hundreds of thousands of dollars from George Soros, which to the best of my knowledge, he hasn't. But if Sumis's son being an SEIU official makes your skin crawl, then Thomas's wife being a special correspondent on Tucker Carlson's "The Daily Caller" should cause concern.

    • From Walkers inaugural speech...

Walker said he wants to "right size" the state government, keeping only the amount of government taxpayers can afford. The new governor said he looked to the state's constitution, written 162 years ago, for inspiration.

"Article I, Section 22 of the state constitution reads so eloquently: 'The blessings of a free government can only be maintained by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality and virtue, and by frequent recurrence to fundamental principles.'

"Today, in this inauguration, we affirm these values and fundamental principles. It is through frugality and moderation in government that we will see freedom and prosperity for our people," Walker said.

you bitter conservatives are here for what? i'm not sure, fighting, "libs are mad at me" boners? is it some way to make money? to get lots of replies?

i'm not sure why you guys are here, but US are not just here to read HuffPo articles-- get a clue, then maybe a brain? then comment, not before.

I have a simple yet possibly complex question to ask you, I'm asking you this question because this is the one thing that I have not heard anyone mention, is it possible for Wisconsin to make it impossible for Walker to live? let me explain, what I mean is the whole country knows about your protest, we've all been following it pretty damn close, and we know what Walker's goal and his cockroach top boys want to do to the unions, the people of Wisconsin, and ultimately the world, complete and total subjugation and enslavement. The question is, since they are trying so hard to do this, is it not possible that the entire population of Wisconsin, could do the same thing to Wilson? and all the people of his ilk? in other words, at a very practical level, we all have to have three s's (as well as eating) that we have to do on a regular basis, (I don't want to be graphic here) whether he leaves the Capitol building or not, you have to have electric and water and food, in other words, it is just like the very same things that he is trying to deprive you and your children off, the bare necessities, and he could not go anywhere in public, he cannot shop for anything himself, if going anywhere and doing anything were such an unbelievable time-consuming major pain in the ass. However you did it, traffic jams, the power going out at the local shopping mall (mysteriously) anything, anything and everything that you could possibly do, that would give one simple message across, not to that asshole-like any fascist, it's impossible to appeal to a conscious which is not their-but the support systems that he counts on to... well... support him-the police or National Guard- that those people, might even begin to think, Jesus H. fuckin Christ, the entire population of Wisconsin hates this son of a bitch, what the hell am I doing out here supporting him? it must be unified, and it must be relentless, any rational person absolutely applauds what the people in Madison have done so far, but this was anticipated by this no good fucking snake, and these other tactics must be used, so that the powers of protection that he counts on, the police and the National Guard, are so ashamed, that they simply will not support this son of a bitch, the military or police person in charge would simply walk up to the desk of Gov.'s office and say something such as:

Gov., as I represent the people under my command, I speak as one voice, we will protect the city from looting, we will protect the city from violence, and we will protect the city from doing physical harm to you or your property, but we will not in any way interfere or remove protesters, from their lawful right, to oppose your will, we in no way, we'll arrest, curtail, or intimidate our fellow citizens, or family members to your prerogatives which are obviously counter to the will of the people, in these areas, you do not have our support, we will not support you, as your demands are completely undemocratic, counter to the principles and laws, of the Constitution of the state of Wisconsin, and the Constitution of the United States.

Under the current circumstances, this is the best idea I can come up with, what the hell would he do, fire the police? fire the National Guard? not going to happen and the great state of Wisconsin Would set a historical precedent for the rest of the nation against Tierney, remember that as fellow human beings, in order to reestablish democracy, we are with you, there are far far far many more of us, then them. I remain V.

    • Whether the judge is in cahoots with Walker, while keeping up appearances, or, the Walkerites have the bit between their teeth and are running wild with it, or not, the Walkerites need to be carried out of that Statehouse and forbid to reenter. They, (who are merely symptomatic of others making the same effort nationwide), are leaving their public no alternatives! They are literally picking a fight, but will the force they have aligned against us, be enough once the bough breaks?

HOORAYS! KUDOS! and BRAVOS! It is staggering that some sniper hasn't taken these demons out yet. If I owned a gun, and had sniper skills, I don't know that I could be responsible for my actions under these circumstances. When your very life is threatened, as each of ours are, one must question what moral rights one has, and what obligations one has to themselves and their families. These are the people that have been sending our family members off to unjustified battles to be killed or mentally crippled. These are the people who have been poisoning our water, air and food, and killing our children with carcinogens. These are the people who have connived and contrived to steal virtually all of our money and resources. These are the people who have contrived to addict children to nicotine. These are the very people who have killed most of those who have risen up to defend us, in the past. But, these are also the people who can not turn all of us away, or kill all of us, if we all rise up together and defend ourselves. Under the circumstances that we have been sledge hammered into, do these people really deserve to live?

it's important to remember, that the workers who fought so hard in the 30s and 40s for the very basic rights that American workers enjoy today, many of them-men women and even children- received multiple broken bones fractured skulls and being outright murdered by strikebreakers hired by the company (usually black disenfranchised workers) the police and the National Guard, we're not concerned with being politically correct, that is to say they tended to be much more pragmatic concerning life in general, were not afraid to call a spade a spade, if someone's a no good selfish son of a bitch, that's what you tell em! Jesus Christ! Where the hell's Huey Long when you need him?!!!
