One of Montana's youngest medical cannabis card holders is Cash Hyde, a 2 ½-year-old boy who battled a brain tumor and won.

    • WOW !!!! WOULDN'T IT BE AMAZING IF THE CURE FOR CANCER WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF US !!!!! AS A CANCER SURVIVOR I THINK NO STONE SHOULD GO UN-TURNED OR BETTER YET UN-TESTED.... I BELIEVE GOD HAS GIVEN US THE CURE , WE JUST NEED TO LOOK IN MUCH MORE SIMPLE PLACES... CANNABIS IS COST EFFECTIVE AND COULD EASILY BE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE... WITH OR WITHOUT INSURANCE.... IMAGINE THE LIVES THAT COULD BE SAVED IF IT WORKS??? !!!!!!!

    • Brandi Tyree says, "The THC will interfere with concentration, learning, problem solving, and short term memory." She believes these are reasons why kids shouldn't be given marijuana.

      While I see where she's going, I think it should be based by the case. In the case of Cash Hyde, it seems to be a wonderful situation. I would rather have a tough time learning and be somewhat behind my peers in intelligence than die or have physical and mental problems caused by a tumor.

      Not everyone is the same. Not everyone reacts the same. In some cases it seems it will be a positive thing.

    • Some of you may not remember, but Jimmy Carter ran on a promise to decriminalize it. All these years later, and it's still a crime to use. Not changing the laws associated with this substance is one of the biggests failures of progressives, democrats, libertarians, true conservatives, and the education of people in general. I'm glad for this child, but the story was a typical media wasteland of non-education and American infotainment!

      Who was it that got caught for coke in his (Carters) administration that ruined that for us. I remember reading or watching something about that years ago. Way to young to know the true history but I know what I've seen/read.
