Why is it that motorcyclists (not just limited to, by the way) are requested to take off their helmets in public places? It is so you can see their face. There is an inherent need for humans to recognise faces and features. That need covers many facets.
With the veil (burka/niqab, etc.), it is no different. THAT is why it became/is becoming law in countries with more backbone than the UK.Also, wearing the veil is an outrageous insult to the men and women who fought and died in order to free oppressed Muslim women from their "masters".
Think about that before you become all holier-than-thou and saying "It is my human right, blah blah blah".
The human right to be able to see a face and recognise is far greater than your misplaced and dangerous religious beliefs.Besides....it makes you look like a big, fat, stupid Ninja!

There's large number of planes that leave every major city throughout Europe to all islamic countries!If these people don't want to integrate into our societies then they should live their lives as they want to in any of those islamic countries!The major problem here is that the truths about islam,muslims and the mentally deranged paedophile warlord mohammed need to be exposed!Muslims aren't here to integrate but to dominate,time for Europe to stop the islamification,The multicutlural society has been proven to be a complete disaster because of one race,muslims!

I live in a predominately Muslim area of Birmingham. The amount of Ninjas walking the streets here is increasing. It's crackers. Then you have the young male Muslims who now feel they are invulnerable. Guess what? They like to have sips of unreligious and infidelious alcohol, get pissed up and start a LOT of trouble. Hypocrites!

So much for respecting what others wear. I like this video, as it shows that you can't legislate against what people wear, because then you have to deal with the semantics that come with it. The burka and the niqab symbolize different things to different people, it doesn't matter whether it's thought as a religious garment or not. But it seems they're using the 'we're helping you [among others] to become liberated' attitude, which isn't anyone's choice to decide for anyone else. Considering the small minority of people who wear these garments, it's ridiculous.
