Anarchy Rising!

So true, they have lots of government still, and they are nowhere close to anarchy. The WTO, the IMF, and the UN have made huge, harmful pushes towards re-statizing these regions and it is having its harmful affect on the regions inhabitants once more. Ironic as it was, the whole reason they broke away from governments in the first place was because the communist party destroyed their entire economy. At least Somalia is improving, even with these threats of statist takeover ever prevalent....

Too bad there is lots of money to be made in statism slavery, heck, why do you think corporations love government? Because they get to lobby for their special interests....

"Anarchism" is not principally concerned with a lack of government, it is concerned with a lack of archons (or rulers), thus "An-Archos". Governments just happen to fall under this definition.

Somalia is still crawling with rulers, warloards, UN forces, and religious theocrats. No anarchist is stupid enough to believe that some random government breaking down creates some state of ruler-ness, it just creates factioned rulers/archons. Anarchism is a belief that the state and other archons and be made obsolete through alternative institutions. That's another debate. This idea that somalia is anarchy is silly and kind of a joke.
