Five Years In Jail For Exposing Animal Abuses In Minnesota

If a new Minnesota bill becomes law, anyone caught going undercover to film or record animal abuses at a factory farm could be sentenced to five years in jail.

    • This is interesting!
      For the most part, there are already laws on the books that address many of the issues in this bill. Are the activities in a feedlot really so atrocious they can't be recorded?
      On the other hand:
      If you're a farmer raising GM Crops, this bill could bite back and hurt you.
      If your GM crop cross-pollinated a neighbor's crop not Genetically Modified, being raised organically or for seed; you could be guilty.
      If spraying RoundUp on a GM RoundUp Resistant crop impacted a neighboring non-resistant crop, you could be committing a felony.
      Lawmakers better be careful, they may get what they wish for.

    • Sick to my stomach.. Instead of video games and I phones and harsh music..
      Why not teach compassion, at home and at school. I mean a REAL SCHOOL COURSE IN COMPASSION. Parents must attend at least one a month. Teach them young, this Country has lost its way :(
