Tax Day Actions to Protest Corporate Tax Dodgers

Politicians claim that our local, state and federal governments are broke, to justify cutting critical public services to working class communities. But, we do not have a spending problem - we have a revenue problem!

Corporations like Bank of America, FedEx, and Verizon (and many others) enjoy massive tax cuts, and pay little to no taxes on their huge profits each year. If they simply paid taxes on their income like the rest of us, we could reduce or eliminate the need to slash funding for programs that serve the majority of us.

Join actions in your city Monday, April 18th - Tax Day - to demand that these Corporate Tax Dodgers PAY THEIR TAXES!

      That's where I found out about this, and about the one in my city -- I went and wore my 'Stand with Wisconsin' t-shirt :-)!!! One of the speakers at the rally was a Neb afl/cio member. I figure if too-red Nebraskans are starting to worry there really IS hope for us and America.

    • Reading this reminds me of this new show or just special, msnbc is doing on people tax cheating the country.. how about doing a show on corporate tax cheat msnbc? How about focusing on how corporations that make billions in profit while not paying a dime in taxes??

      No, they worry about the little guy and his measly $500 to $5,000 in taxes that he doesn't pay and don't compare it to the MILLIONS, that companies are avoiding in paying... very fucking special show.... That's being in tune with what the people are thinking msnbc!

      They (msnbc) have to consider their corporate overlords very sensitive bottom line , how long would an employee last doing a show about that ? Not long , methinks.... so they dare not REALLY try . Not consistently , at least .
