    • Olbermann is officially buried on page 27 where real people wont see him and conservatives never have to worry about the truth gaining critical mass.

    • Based on reliable psychological predictors, Keith Olbermann is a likely suicide candidate, possibly a murder/suicide. In my extensive doctoral research on sociopaths specializing in people who gained official or de facto official positions in society Mr. Olberman stands out. This is especially dangerous because these types of people have the protection of some established authority. The classic examples are many, but not all, of the officials in Nazi Germany. Olbermann’s recent remark about how abortion would have been good for a female political commentator is very telling of the frustrations of intelligent but ultimately frustrated public figures. This and his self implosion work history indicate an increasing level of auto criticism which often covers dangerous self hatred. Unless this is recognized and defused these types of people end up taking their lives in a sudden, unexpected, episode.

    • I hope that Keith Olbermann doesn't continue business as usual when he goes on air for Current TV. I would like him to turn it up a notch, going after the true culprits of todays biggest crimes- the wealthy, greedy, and soul-less persons. I dont want to hear about left vs right. I want to know how middle and lower class citizens can unite, ending any and all contributions to the self-destructive path that Corporations would have us go down. Lets hear about long term solutions, rather than get heated up over short-term gratification. Maybe Olbermann is not the person to do such a thing, but its what I have always yearned for.

    • C'mon, I need my Olbermann fix. When is Keith going back on the air? I'm a seventy five year old man and it's starting to look like I might cash it in first.

    • SWEET!!!! Keith, get your rear back on the air!!! You are sorely missing from today's political discourse arena!!! I can only handle so much teapublican blathering without a dose of sanity. Rachael helps but more is needed!!!

    • Is this guy relevant in some parallel universe? Oh I get it, this is a comedy show. Now it all makes sense. And some say Fox is not a news network. IF that is the case they took lessons from Keith.

What racist fantasyland would that be? You make some very ignorant and unintelligent commments that do not deserve response but this one is so far off the mark I have to scribble something. More liberal, my apologies if you are not, mischaracterization that has nothing to do with the truth. This tactic has become de rigueur with the left in a sophmoric and pitiful attempt to jab at people. YOu are a very sad individual. By the way, who is Marilyn Davenport??

I listen to FOx, MSNBC, CNN and some broadcast. I don't expect complete accuracy from any one so I mix it up a little. Many here yell about Fox as though the rest of the cable shows were gods and incapable of doing wrong. This is the same attitude applied to anyone who does not share their party line ideology. I don't bother to respond to many of the threads here about the so-called evil perpetuated by Fox, the Tea Party, Palin etc. because I know it is a liberal attempt at character assassination. What this tells me that if all these people in the previous sentence were so evil and lied so much the public would see through that and go elsewhere. Instead, Air America is in the toilet and the Olbermans of the world are searching for another podium to spout their comedy which tells me that the public is not as stupid as the Pelosis of the world think. Fox is another news outlet. Palin and the Tea Party are differing political philosophies from yours. Liberals seem to have a huge problem with things as simple as differing views. Easy to see the wonderful accepting, compassionate and freedom loving liberals are the greater problem (sarcasm off)

Seriously? You got to be kidding.. There isn't a need for Liberals to try and assassinate the so-called character of Fox, the Tea Party, and Palin, because they do a good enough job of destroying their own questionable character.

    • I'm getting so sick of the GOP's continually making the race of a person an issue.

I don't care what a person's racial or ethnic background is, and I think (hope) most Americans agree.

For her to say she's not racist because Obama's only "half black" shows the focus she has on the racial issue.

I hope it doesn't get worse before the election, but I think it probably will.

    • Davenport is the typical Tea Party piece of work, from the "I'm not a racist I have black friends" school of racists. Keith has always called the Tea Baggers out for their racism and they've always howled. But they always prove he's right.

    • Thanks letsliveinpeace for posting this. I caught it on his web site earlier, too. A deserving list as usual. Excellent Worst Persons of the Day as always. People like this Davenport always say they are not racsists but in the same breath they prove they are. They always have black friends, too. I also liked the update on the National Review….I remember Rich Lowrey well……right after Palin’s first debate when "he sat up a little straighter in his chair", as Keith said on COUNTDOWN.... Classic! I loved when he had him on his Worst Person’s in the World that day and the pic he had of him looked like he was, ya know…..

    • I think the Worst Person in the World should have gone to Gov. Rick Snyder of Michigan who has begun his economic mandate creation (aka economic marshall law) in Benton Harbour: Completely disenfranchised the population and sent in an "emergency economic manager" who has ties with a major development corp. who want the park in Benton Harbor as part of their golf course community development. The average income in Benton Harbor--$10,000 + per year. The golf club membership is $5000: not too many of the 85% African American populace in Benton Harbor will be members...

The use of the governor's new authority to appoint party hacks to take over the function of local elected officials in local governments, buying and selling assets at will is finally field tested.
Sounds familiar. See the 21st century reintroduction of The Gauleiter, a political officer once used by an European totalitarian Fascist regime to control the destiny of local governments at home and in conquered and occupied territories (like Belgium).

      http://themselves.er

We are engaged in a civil war over the Constitutional issue of States Rights vs Federal Rights. The Bircher sponsored GOP and their automatons are waging an all out assault aimed at weakening our central government to the point of elimination, while elivating the power of the States, with the end result being the Corporate States of America. This is a well organized, well orchestrated, and well funded bombardment aimed at every level of government and at the populace themselves. The GOP in D.C. and the GOP governors and/or state legislators collectively have been defunding, deregulating, dismanteling, disenfranchising, distracting, and spewing vitriolic dross over every information highway available 24/7 to tear down the Federal government.

Oops, there goes the blood pressure again--time to decompress and listen to Hilary Stagg...Thank you for your comment.

I saw this on Rachel too. The park in question, for those who didn't, is Jean Klock Park, named for a 6-year-old girl who died in 1917 and her parents gave the lakefront land to the town for a park. "It is our wish that the lakefront always be preserved in its natural state and be a playground for the children and a bathing beach for all people." Rachel pointed out that this park is the only really fine thing this economically depressed town has that can be enjoyed by all. So Snyder's little developer pals have this swell plan to turn the park into yet another golf community, supposedly with 'some affordable housing' included. Wonder what constitutes 'affordable' for these guys. Also wonder how many homeowners adjacent to this doomed park will suddenly start feeling a stiff cold breeze coming off Lake Michigan and find eminent domain has come to them.

There is a SAVE JEAN KLOCK PARK website, but with Gov. I Am The Law Snyder in charge and his minions doing his bidding to eliminate these low-income eyesores to make way for the nattily dressed leisure class, not sure what good it can do now.

My stomach hurts every night when I go to bed.

There was one single headline re this on Friday--was talking with friends about Snyder's move, but couldn't recall what site I had seen it on: was pleased Rachel Maddow followed up with detailed story on Monday: there are sooooo many instances out there of GOP malfeasance that the mind gets numb and I was beginning to think I had conjoured up the story--oh, wait, maybe I'm "touched by the hand of god" and should have my own reality show...

As to how this is going to help the citizens of Benton Harbour: Think like an elitist member of the GOP and spin the "job creation" bit: Golf caddies; waiters; waitresses; nannys; housekeepers; shoe shine persons; parking attendants, etc: all low paying, although with the average salary currently just $10200, how much lower could it go...This would be the same as the GOP justifying cutting food stamps as a new health and safety policy due to the increased staph in meats...

Now see Warren. That's a joke.

Not a good one admittedly, but at your expense. But I did not mention your race, or Monkeys, your parents, wife, kids.
