Ensign your most terrible sin was doing the corruption dance of these republicans. Look toward redemption Try it on . When you are out of office consider blowing the whistle on the real scandals you know about. Get on Gods side of things. It would be good for your soul. Become sociable instead of anti social.

Why is Sen.John Ensign resigning. Senator, if you did nothing wrong - don't resign. You should only resign if you don't want them to convict you as a Senator. Is that it?

Now I am not the righteous one, nor do I profess to be holier than thou. Then again, I am not running for any office either—but, C’mon, sleeping with your “friend’s” wife, paying bribes, pay for play, hush money, unethical lobbying, unethical job appointments…I can hear Clinton’s southern drawl now, “Yeah, my friend, guess who has the last laugh now?” The only person I feel any sympathy for in this mess is Ensign’s wife. I don’t even feel for Ensign’s friend—he took the money as if it was alright. If that would have been me, I would have taken the money first and then delivered a swift kick to his ass, and finally, then filed for divorce, of course. Yeah, I know money cannot buy you happiness, but at least I would have been able to walk away with not only a heavy heart but with a heavy wallet as well.

"there are consequences to sin" Ensign says, but his consequences are either glacially slow or non-existent.
How about consequences of crime? i.e., bribery, fraud by misrepresentation, suppression of evidence?
What a piece of work these Rethuglican Christians are. - 1 year ago
