Flight fear? Air travel is less dangerous than car and road travel, statistics show

A recent US National Safety Council study shows flying to be 22 times safer than travelling by car.And researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US calculated that, statistically, you’d have to fly every day for 22,000 years to be involved in a fatal aircraft accident.
