Brenda Lynette Harding, 30-year-old local babysitter from Cañon City, Colorado, has been arrestedfor the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old Buena Vista boy, who later committed suicide.Harding was arrested at her home on charges of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust and sexual assault on a child, pattern of abuse.
During the hearing Monday, 11th Judicial District judge Julie Marshall approved a protection order against Harding prohibiting her from having any contact with Hagen’s family or with children younger than 18 years old.
An exception allows telephone contact with Harding’s children, 3 and 5 years old, pending hearings May 2 about the protection order and for filing of charges.
According to the affidavit, Harding was a friend of the boy’s stepmother and his caregiver during the summer of 2010. Harding admitted having a sexual relationship with Hagen, beginning June 5, 2010

I bet all media would be reporting a story if a 30 year old man sexually assaulted a 15 year old girl and if she later committed suicide. Why media is quiet when a woman is perpetrator and a young boy is a victim?
