The space rock, called YU55, will hurtle past our planet at a distance of just 201,700 miles during its closest approach on November 8.
That is closer to Earth than the moon, which orbits 238,857miles away on average.
With a width of some 400metres and weighing 55million tons, YU55 will be the largest object to ever approach Earth so close.

We had another near miss last year that nobody told us about until after it happenned.
This is a little too wierd to occur twice in one year and is NOT NORMAL.
So this is the phantom photon belt?
The wake of Planet X???
We are witnessing Quetzalcoatl do his dance.
Not doom.
Not boom.
But BOON. - 1 year ago

This is not uncommon. For all your fear mongering/apocalypse preparing/just plain interested needs, check out NASA's Near Earth Object Program: http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/ca/
They have all kinds of information on things that almost killed us in the past and things that may or may not kill us in the future.
4 passed us in the last two days. Just today alone there are 5 "close approaches". One tomorrow, two on Saturday, one the following Monday, one more Wednesday and another one on that Thursday. I think you get the idea. WE ALL GONNA DIE... or maybe not...
Of course I assume that if one were going to hit us without a doubt it would be omitted from mention.

Hasn't missed us yet, and technically, if you wanna use god, 'he' put us here in the first place and probably sent the asteroid personally. Not sure that's something to be grateful for.
