When bin Laden talked about what he was doing and why, he was always talking about money. Even at times you really would not expect him to be so money focused, he talked about money. Money is always how he explained what he was doing and what he and al Qaeda were trying to accomplish.

      That would certainly hurt their recruitment numbers. Along with the fact that perpetual war means profits. It's always about the interests of the rich...not the common man.

    • I know the reason oh great Rachel. Kennedy was assasinated because he was in the way of the millitary industrial complex that needed to sell war and helicopters? Dr. King was assasinated because he wanted to bring the disenfranchised people together to form a political means to the end of injustice and poverty and that would have cost the rich to much.
      Wars are for money and treasure, testing weapons, training soldiers, keeping the population in check. Obama killed Bin Laden because he needed killing. Libya is about oil and treasure, testing weapons, etc. I think WW2 was the last war we fought that should have been fought and we were attacked by Japan and Germany declared war on us.

      The cola wars in the 80's was a war about taste.

    • Because of the openendedness of the West's objectives, it makes you question if the only group that will ever be able to truly declare "Mission Accomplished" are indeed bin Laden's ideological followers?
