    • If this were an interview with Martin Luther King Jr. and he asked all of those same questions, would you be mocking him as well? What has happened to people in this country? Asking questions of your government is essential to maintaining a working democracy. But then, we don't have one anymore so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I haven't always agreed with Cindy Sheehan, but on this I too ask, why can we not seek answers and evidence from this government regardless of the president without being degraded? And I too think this interviewer was deliberately trying to get back to Ms. Sheehan's grief to somehow make her look as though she was mentally unstable or just acting out of grief as if to diminish her focus. There is nothing "tin foil" about asking questions. Only Obama supporters wanting to shut people up here (despite their comments about everyone's opinion mattering just like Bushies tried to do) say that it seems. Partisanship has ruined this country.

      Imho, you appear to be basing your statement on the connotation which
      the term conspiracy evokes. That's a mistake. Because connotations are
      invariably distortions of the truth. I'm a law student, and also a student of
      Webster's dictionary of the American language, New World college edition.
      The denotation, not connotation, of the word conspiracy simply involves
      a combination of 2 or more to accomplish a common goal. So, looking at
      the term neutraly, it makes perfect sense that two heads are better than one.
      It's the legal definition of conspiracy that pertains to torts or crimes of any
      varying degree. And they usualy do involve evil intent.

      Since we were not there and will never know exactly what happened we can only speculate that Osama could have been captured. I will settle for his death and personally I do not believe he was assasinated. He declared war on the U.S. and was a casualty of war.

      They should not have expected a cushy life. They are disciplined dogs of war, and that is that. You are only made to follow orders. You just don't join infantry- and expect NOT to go out and get shot at.

      That's crap. People who join the military are not disciplined and not "dogs of war." They're typically kids who were lied to by their recruiter. Also not everyone who joins the military joins to fight. I haven't seen many cooks pick up a rifle for anything more than target practice. Sure they're not forced into the military but they're cohereced from a young age by movies like blackhawk down, we were soldiers, transformers and more. Not to mention a recruiter who can bullshit with the best of them. That's also why 1 in 5 recruiters was under federal investigation. For lying to recruits and telling them things like they wouldn't be sent to Afghanistan.

      "no one said it was going to be fun" - have you even talked to a military recruiter? GTFO with your stupid rants

      Fucking recruiter told me that i would have lots of time to see my family. Now i might see my wife 5 minutes in the morning, and 2 hours at night. Not to mention the 3 months a year we are in the field training to go to hell.

      @Savvy7, Part of the reason why I'm joining the Marines right after high school. No money, no one is looking to hire, specially in my broke hometown. Just figured since SD has a Marines boot camp. and I already have my MOS; its computer engineer, non combat position. I wouldn't want to be the guy out their fighting invisible terrorists. Balls to them.

      @Colin_McCabe, they discipline you during your training. The kids WANTED too join the military, they WANTED too shoot, why else would they sign? Recruiter lied to them? Tough shit you trusted a soldier. and Yeah it seems cool at first; the shooting, hanging with your infantry buddies, but when you get shot back at; that is when reality hits, that war sucks- and recruiters don't tell you that, it will scare most people.

      and off course , I have been lied to by my recruiter, who hasn't; I truthfully admit it. He did misinform me, but hey, I did my own research on my job and what would I do, what are the risks...All jobs in the military have risks (funny). You are, after all putting yourself in the line of fire. No he said, 'oh no they we are pulling out, they wont send you their'..They probably will. And if they do- that is why I joined, to serve and obey my Nation and people, right?

      Why would you join and not expect to fight...We are in wars.They put themselves in the line of fire, and hey, they are just complaining and crying over there fuck ups of life. You just can't expect to be paid for being an infantry soldier...and not fighting...That is straight up funny.

      I would prefer defending our Nation at home, then at some shit hole half way around the world. I would rather die here as well defending our rights, but NO, our government is ran by corporate assholes who are interested in oil and other resources.

      Yeah, they work the hell out of you. As a recruit you can expect a 1.2k monthly working all day...Is that true? My recruiter won't tell me much, he doesn't want me to lose confidence and just ditch. Can't wait fixing a computer all day for 1.2k monthly...Haha. Would probably pull the trigger.

      told us in her past posts on OBL. The US military & it's CIA front
      have 0 credibility since Vietnam. He's supposedly been dead
      since 2001. Back in the late 1950s to early 60s, there used
      to be a black and white TV show broadcast with Bud Collier,
      Dorthy Kilgallen et al, hosted by Gary Moore entitled: " What's
      my line " meaning what's the REAL so and so's occupation ?
      There were 3 people portending to be the real eg stunt person,
      and it was up to the panelists to question all 3 contenders very
      closely then examine their responses/reactions to weed out the
      2 decoys. You can't do that when someone's dead. Likewise
      voice prints are impossible. Even DNA can be planted. Dental
      records are standard of the proof forensic professionals rely on
      here. Not some God damned photograph. We're not their fools.

      We are long past the days when plastic surgery can make CIA
      dopplegangers out of nearly anyone. The man in the iron mask/
      prisoner of zenda are classic themes about cons. We'd only know
      for sure how many look alikes of OBL the CIA's IMF had if we were
      privy to their ultra compartmentalized, need to know, for your eyes
      only shitless con games. Since their credibility went down the toilet
      along with their Constitutionality long, long ago I say ba fangu. The
      US Government's " terrorism " cash cow has kept OBL alive only as
      long as they wanted to milk the sordid situation they created. Before
      the lockdown after 9/11, the only flight to depart were Bin Ladens
      because Gerorge Bush Jr. was working for them as his patrons.

      Agents of the US Government create their own enemies. I recall in
      Spring 2005 listening to a 2nd hand account given by a foreign
      journalist who interviewed OBL and asked him what his motive for
      taking credit for the 9/11 hijacking and suicide missions was. Bin
      Laden replied that he was a child in Lebanon when he saw their
      towers burning. It was after Ronald Reagan's blunderbus mistake
      of sending a batallion of marines to Lebanon in the early 1980s
      which were decimated in a truck bombing outside their compound
      and then withdrawn. Before that intrusion it was a civil war among
      Arab militia warlords. The US Government was perceived as an
      invader. So if you believe that, it follows that 9/11 was retaliation
      for Lebanon a generation later. All of us who use our heads for
      more than a hat rack know by now that the US Government knew
      of the planned 9/11 attack long before it happened, permitting
      it to happen, and becoming complicit with it because the CIA/FBI
      are moraly bankrupt foes of lawful Government. Like I said, the
      agents of the US Government treat those they hate as enemies
      hoping they'll become enemies just to have an excuse for Murder.
      Kind of like this. I wonder how many in Mr. Rogers neighborhood
      can still think independently because they don't want the Gummint
      telling them what to swallow. Can you say duplicity neighbor ?

      tIf obl had been dead since 2001 we would not have all the videos that he has created since then.
      Most importantly the Bush administration would used his death as a mission accomplished statement and I'm sure his cadaver pictures would have been all over the tv.

      to be based on suppositions and presumptions that reflect what you want
      to believe. You can't know whether or not it was the CIA who fabricated
      the phony OBL tapes. The CIA had look OBL look alikes to stage those
      videos. Several news articles were posted here on Current.com to that
      effect, though you might not have been paying attention. The CIA had
      every motive to keep their bogieman seem to still live to keep the conflicts
      in Iraq and Afghanistan going which were collossal money makers for the
      Corporations they advocated for such as Haliburton, Blackwater etc.
      George Bush Jr. is an NWO agent working for the Saudi Arabian oil
      magnate multi Billionaire family named the Bin Ladens. Osama was their
