    • Well I guess they are going for broke while they can . That is really all that can be said . Walker et al, must have the mentality that whatever they eff up in their favor and the Koch boys cannot be recalled or recinded fast enough before they can pillage all that is left. Maybe they think that the votes will not be there ...whatever.

      What they have done for sure is galvanized a left leaning populace ( with some disafected republicans along the way ) and certainy done more for the union cause than Hoffa could ever do.

      Again, what I have been saying across the board on multiple threads is that , we may have to take it for the next year, but certainly a vast majority are going to show up at the polls to vote out these .........( fill in the blank )

      - or even recall them sooner.

    • I'll try and keep this family oriented and refrain from using the nasty words. I saw this on The Ed Show last night and went through the roof. WTF do the pols in Wisconsin think they are? Gods?
      I do not use the word hate as it refers that you want someone in a non breathing status BUT I hate all the pols who even thought of voting for that bill just to stay in power. What really kills me Walker claims the state is broke but will spend over 5 million dollars to implement the license to vote rule making it so that senior citizens can't vote.
      I think it's time for action not only in Wisconsin but the rest of this country.
      What did the Elephant people say "take back our country", Well People it's time for us to take our hijacked country back from the Elephant people.

    • You bet that is what these Rep governors are all about. They want us to go back to the days of The Triangle Shirt Waist Fire....I saw that special on PBS. They want us to go back to 1911. These Reps are in your face with what they want and the American people are waking up. As for my state, as you may already know, we are having a rally in Madison this weekend on Saturday, May 14th to try to stop the shit Walker is trying to shove through. Rachel did an excellent segment on WI last night. Here it is:

    • I have to admit, If I went back into coaching, I'd think about using the tactics of the Republic Syndicate and the Kochs --- Lie, Cheat, Steal, Intimidate, Bribe, threaten, and most importantly take a blowtorch to the Rules and Regulations.

      Win at any cost no matter who or how many get hurt.

    • Despicable! They're trying to fast-tack a Voter ID bill through before the recall elections that would make it harder for people to vote.
      For seniors this is devastating.....175,000 Seniors in Wisconsin don't have a drivers license so they might not be able to vote.

      Not only is this UN-democratic, it's going to cost the tax payers 5.7 Million dollars to implement.
      I guess there's always plenty of money in the budget if it keeps you in office.

      I hope the right video comes up....look for The GOP battles for dominance.

      Here in WI they want to get that ID Bill passed so bad before the recalls (see my link to Rachel's show above) because they think it's going to cage more Democratic voters that Rep voters. All your facts in your post are correct! Thanks August for your continued support and interest in WI. :)

      Everyone should ber required to provide identification when they vote. Where I vote not only is a picture ID required, they match the signature on the license with the signiture from voter registration.
