    • I hope everyone now understands what the GOP is doing. There recent actions, which were well planned, have nothing to do with budgets, you, me, or what's good for the United States. This is all about breaking the last vestiges union power, and by default, serious contributions by labor to democratic candidates. All you have to do is think about the recent SCOTUS decision handed down by the activist conservative court and it all comes into focus. Strip the opposition of financial strength while strengthening the power of the private sector to deliver campaign money to the GOP. It's a perilous path they walk, the end of which is revolution. They won't acknowledge this because power and greed are blinding, but history (even our own) has proven otherwise. The United States was founded by revolution and with any luck it will be founded by revolution again.

    • Madison, Wisconsin gives me hope. I never thought I would say that phrase in my life time, but it is true.

I pray for the good people in Madison, and hope that Scott Walker will be flipping burgers soon!

    • It is so important to keep the actions of Wisconsinites showing our opposition to the right wing corporate takeover that Scott Walker is attempting to orchestrate for and with the help of the Kochroaches. Roaches flee to the woodwork when a light is shone on them. That is where we need them to be driven and our efforts have to be relentless. It is very difficult to kill a roach. They have to be starved to death. And in this case, it is of their influence on our lives.

    • Spent most of the day following the action on #wiunion on my computer.

I just wish the MSM spent a quarter the time on covering the protests in Wisconsin and other states that they spend covering who's getting divorced or who's getting married or some other worthless paparazzi cArp.

Let the unions spend all their money and effort on Wisconsin. I can live with that. But keep in mind when there was an state supreme court election that could have swayed the events of Wisconsin nothing changed. (save the whining)

Not a good argument as very little of note is in the MSM. Current is mainstream for lots of folks (myself included) who want something other than media filtered by the corporations that own them. Also being left of center is hardly "far left"

Current is mainstream for far left liberals who make up about 10% of voters. The news stories are so distorted and slanted to the left I can only laugh when anyone posts "Fox Lies." This is also the most hate filled site I've ever visited.

I enjoy the debate. I enjoy confusing liberals with facts. I've learned a lot about liberals from this site. I've learned many are more intolerent and full of hatred than the people they claim to be the same. I'm happy with my life. There's nothing anyone on this site can say that will upset me short of the messages that were physical threats of harm aimed at my daugher and me.

    • The people of Wisconsin are true modern day
      patriots.
Keep it up, we all need your leadership as the
Republicans will be relentless in their push for
money and total corporate control of working American
      families.

    • Are the people in Wisconsin the only ones left in this country with a set of nuts? I guess the rest of us just haven't been screwed over enough.

No, there's stuff happening around the country, but the Corporations are NOt gonna let the people know the Oligarchs are being taken on.

17 Tea Baggers show up and MSM is all over it like Republic SYndiacte on cheap Whores. But let Thousands show up against the Republic Syndicate, the MSM is busy covering Tronald Dump, or Ron, The Racist, Paul or his little P!$$Ant son.

Thanks, dinm76. My husband and I were so disappointed we couldn't go due to the weather. My husband already has a cold. We have 2 signs....my husband's says "Walker Hates WI Workers" and mine says on one side "Recall Walker" the other side says "Current TV Bloggers Support WI" So you can imagine how sad I was that I wasn't able to attend. But the rallies for the recalls are ahead....my sign will be seen! :)

    • Senator Herb Kohl is retiring. He will not be seeking re-election in 2012. So now it's Russ Feingold, Tammy Baldwin and Tom Barrett who will be seeking to go for his Senate seat. IMO, I would like to see Feingold run and put him back in the Senate where he belongs.
