Feds Interrogate Seventh Grader about Facebook Post

A Tacoma seventh grader faced federal interrogation at school for what he posted on his Facebook page. His mom said it all happened without her knowledge or permission.

Timi Robertson said she had just finished lunch with a friend Friday when she got a phone call from her son’s school.

“I answered it, and it’s the school security guard who’s giving me a heads up that the Secret Service is here with the Tacoma Police Department and they have Vito and they’re talking to him,” Robertson said.

    • I would like to know the exact wording of his facebook post before saying the secret service overreacted. However, interviewing him without his mother present is bullshit.

    • So...why didn't they visit Glenn Beck when he said we need to shoot Obama...I mean Whoops...Osama. That guy needs a visit from the service in a bad way.

    • Did this kid convey he knew the President was in danger? Show the post. Does the child lack the understanding of his rights? Was he informed of his rights before he was questioned? I'm just say'n.

    • i wanna know exactly what the post said... if the secret service got involved, its likely that it was more serious than what he made it out to be... though this story is rediculous... if the boy had done something stupid, we would blame the secret service for not doing anything about it when it was posted on facebook, right? better safe than sorry?

    • OMG! These dip-shit secret service agents need to get real jobs and stop looking for terrorists on the Facebook pages of 13 year-olds (although it certainly makes the whole Facebook connection to hyper-surveillance crystal clear).

Hello--Scott Walker -- in plain view -- maybe the dumb ass secret service ought to take a closer look at the things coming out of this goon's mouth.

And this politicalfailblog has some bullshit going on too. How about you post these links to somewhere other than this blog, it is loaded with crap people don't want to deal with, or clean up the overload of invasive advertising on your blog.
