Obama's Call For Israel-Palestine Borders On 1967 Lines Overshadows Rest Of Speech

President Obama took heat from several sides after delivering a highly anticipated major address on the Middle East, with supporters of Israel expressing anger over Obama's call for the establishment of "borders of Israel and Palestine...based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps," and Arab nations and backers of Palestine saying Obama did not go far enough. Many reports focus on criticism from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who will meet with Obama today at the White House. Reports also highlight the harsh criticism from prospective Republican presidential candidates. The President's comments on Israel and Palestine overshadowed the rest of the speech, which dealt with the so-called "Arab Spring" of uprisings and demonstrations.
