Republican congressman doesn't want to give up free healthcare

This guy is a real piece of work. Tries to shame one of his constituents about Medicare, then says he keeps his because its free.

    • I have been wondering about the same exact situation that the woman described in her question. Is there any doubt that politicians are just a bunch of ignorant hippocrits on goverment wellfare.....tax payer dollars. The shame in it all is that we the taxpayers' are paying these succubus politicians to spew this crap and then try to force feed it to an educated society.

      The first woman's question was about after retirement, when she loses her employers insurance coverage, who would 'give' her coverage.
      But she wasn't really saying it should be "Given" to her, she was pointing out that noone would be willing to 'SELL' insurance to the older retirees because they can't profit from those policies.

      He basically told her to pull herself up by her bootstraps
      ( and got a little standing ovation for the percieved red meat he threw )
      But her point was noone will let her Buy the bootstraps

      Much respect to the lady who called him out on his hypocrisy

      And Double Shame on that crowd for
      1 - not understanding the first question
      2 - for not booing him when he said he takes it cause it's free
      ( a postion they were standing and cheering against 30 seconds earlier )

      It's funny, he kinda' confused them there. I feel for that lady, I can't believe that none of them understood her question. I agree with tbuffin, who said that his opponent next year should run that over and over next year.
