Of course. The governor of Texas has been on his knees begging for money all the while saying he is for secession from the Union. He's the one that just cut all that money from the states budget to help with wild fires.

Why do people think there is any difference? Stop being concerned over the two sides of the same coin. Blame it on them, no bame it on them....ENOUGH!!!....we can only fix this together. There are those that would choose people and planet first and there are those that would choose "differently". Know which side you are on and forget the bickering and derision. Why do you think the antagonism is being kept before you to perpetuate like a great big carrot?

You oversimplify , sir . The difference is due to the big money campaign fund origin . If the Unions play a role at all , those politicians beholdin DO , in part serve the working people . Other than that , they serve the batshit crazy corporations who are dead set against being sane or even reasonable and are trying to enslave us all .

Thanks for your response. I think we will see very soon more truth and possibility than we are used to. Discussions and decisions like those being made in Spain by the people for the people are one possibility I would welcome with open arms.

If you think the Unions are acting any better than the other systems falling down I would disagree. The Teachers Union is a big wall between revising the school systems or not. They do not act in the best interest of good teachers or education, but only in the interest of self perpetuation. Much like the Cancer Association's finding of a cure...they won't be as needed after...it is available. Nothing is wrong with oversimplification of "for people or not", the answer is simple.

Most of us have had to put up with conservative bullshit since 1978 when Newt was first elected to Congress. For years we did not fight back and only said 'they will come to their senses.' They didn't. They attacked Bill Clinton after they put Reagan and Bush into office. Then they put shrub into office and would not hear a disparaging word. Now that Obama is President you can't ward them off with a can of bug spray. So some of us have begun fighting back and I for one will continue to do so. These assholes that are railing against the rest of us will continue to do so unless you help slap these bullies down.

This is all part of the organized plan by the GOP to convince people they no longer need to feel compassion for victims of horrendous natural disasters. Their bottom lines should always take precedence in the new world of compassionate conservatism.

Thanks for posting this, KB! Excellent. Mike Malloy just tells it like it is. He asks the burning question....why does the average person vote for the Reps? They don't even want to give the people of Joplin any help! Blows my mind. I understand why the rich Reps I clean for vote Rep but not these people in the heartland. If these people STILL don't understand that the Reps don't have their best interests in mind after the hell that they been through in Joplin and the surrounding areas, then there is no hope.

FASCISMFunny how these assholes can put together a 30 year plan and Obama cant even plan ahead 4 years. You sure cannot call republiCONs stupid. After all
for the past 30 years they have dupped a majority of American voters on a regular basis. What does that say for the rest of us.

Sorry if i offended anyone. I was trying to point out that many Americans vote republiCON even though they have the attributes that i listed. dont blame me for the fact that obama has been fairly ineffectual. As for those of you that actually think that i am or i subscribe to chimpy's philosophy's, perhaps you are actually a republiCON but have not figured it out yet.

No, that was because Rick Perry asked for less federal aid, bright boy. Texas can do it all by themselves according to Emperor Perry. He picks and chooses what help he needs from those dreaded socialists in DC.

My post states that Obummer denied Texas manor disaster status. See http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local_news/article/Perry-No-response-from-Obama...
which states in part,"Gov. Rick Perry said Thursday he was frustrated that after two weeks, he hasn't heard back from President Barack Obama on his request to declare the state a major federal disaster as a result of widespread wildfires......" Per the article and my post, Perry wanted federal disaster status. Aid gets worked out later. Does that help you bright boy. - 1 year ago

Nice post KB. It's too bad that what Mike Malloy says falls on deaf ears except us few who know and understand what is really going on.
Would be nice to hijack all the right wing radio stations to broadcast what he has to say. Maybe it may sink in.At the least it would drive them all insane so they are not able to vote. - 1 year ago

I used to listen to mike every day back when I had a job . On XM radio. I was on the road most of the time . I slept in the truck so I could get maximum listening time . Also Thom Hartman , Randi Rhodes, many others . Mike was in town one time while I was also in town . I watched over from a little distance . I remember what happened to Allen Berg . I could not bear it to happen again. Anyone who cares as much as Mike does is very important to me. And humanity. God bless Mike Malloy.
