Forty years after US president Richard Nixon declared a 'War on Drugs', the global commission on drug policy declared that the war has been lost. Al Jazeera's Cath Turner reports on the losing battles in a tiring war.

    • Richard Milhouse Nixon has done more harm to America and the world than perhaps any president besides George Walker Bush.
      Nixon started the War On Drugs which created an enormous black market and the world's biggest prison rate. He opened up China for cheap labor which has destroyed American jobs and caused China to surpass the U.S. in greenhouse emissions.
      Nixon also initiated biowarfare research for population control which led to the development of HIV via experimental hepatitis-B vaccines which caused AIDS (see Queer Blood by Alan Cantwell Jr, MD -- winner of the Benjamin Franklin Book Award).
      Ronald Wilson Reagan is a close third with his failed trickle-down voodoo economics which republicans still worship.
      I concluded long ago that conservatives are not only proudly ignorant but incredibly EVIL!
