    • I don't even know what to say about this besides it is awful. Things like this are why so many of our troops come back suffering from mental illness. I feel so bad for them.

    • This isn't the troop's fault. No one can blame them for wanting to cover their asses. If anyone is to blame, it's the people responsible for sending them there.

Honestly, they shouldn't have been there in the first place!

    • When will military men and women wake up and realize they are pawns in a rich man's game? Military recruiters intentionally target high schools in areas of economic vulnerability. Even in the Civil War, Southerners who owned more than 20 acres were exempt from serving in the military, it was the poor who fought that rich man's war as well.

Your absolutely correct, took me 10 years to figure that out, but in that time there were no wars, except desert storm which I didn’t get called up for. Once Bush took office I got out, I noticed that most NCO’s and enlisted were deemed cannon fire, that none of the Civilians approving these wars were send their kids to fight only the poor and clueless. I call it a puppet on a string, which I cut my strings in 2000.

    • If I were deployed I would be terrified, but living with
innocent lives on my conscience is a life long burden.
No wonder vets come home with so many difficulties
      coping with life.
      No easy answers here.

    • Shouldn't someone be held accountable? If not, why not? The only way to stop it from happening in the future, is to hold someone accountable today.

Since it is THEY (females) have been doing the Lion's share of suffering , I would like to see the Taliban shit themselves , when they see an army of trained , armed and pissed off females . Sweet peace and justice , right there . Too bad people are too lacking in imagination to think of it or do it .

I know it has been suggested. I do some work with an NGO that supports sustainable farming practices for women and in a meeting with some of the folks who had just returned from Afghanistan. One of the women in the village specifically asked one of the NGO females whether she thought the US would do such a thing.

    • Our military is as corrupt as our government is. Then the military corrupts our youth. The MIC runs this country.....along with Wall Street. The government will do nothing about this. These soldiers know if they speak out, even though it is the right thing to do, they are done for. Sad indeed because these young men have to live with this the rest of their lives. They always carry the heaviest load. As for the people of this country not knowing or caring about what goes on in these wars....that's by design. As the guy in the interview said, "I don't blame the people of this country for that as much as I blame our leaders." (Although I wish the populace of this country would get their heads out of their asses)

    • Drop weapons are necessary to fight a war where liberals have boxed in the men in combat with to tight of rules of engagement. Liberals have turned an accidental killing in Iraq to serving 10 years in jail. Plus how is this news, this shit has been talking about since the first days of the war.

Apparently, Liberals haven't done enough if some of our soldiers are still slaughtering locals for fun. It seems a month doesn't go by without hearing about it.

How accurate is this?: "Republicans are responsible for soldiers (who are stuck in wars) killing innocent civilians for fun because the GOPers allow themselves to be manipulated like trained monkeys, demonstrating a knee-jerk reaction everytime a politician waves a flag, and so have been duped into supporting needless wars"?

      or

"Republicans are responsible for soldiers slaughtering innocent civilians because GOPers are so xenophobic with fear that they believe every one with a different culture, religion, language, country and/or appearance are overwhelming threats, and so must all be killed"?

It's really as simple as thinking, "would I like the terms of the rules of engagement to apply to my treatment?" You have no idea what this war is like for our troops, let alone for the poor people of iraq/afghanistan. You treat these men (and women), mostly just over the age of consent, like they'd all RATHER be cutting heads and raping and pillaging, and that's a huge disservice to all people in uniform. From what I can tell from my friends and family currently in the service, all they want to do is do their duty and be done with it. Stand up for their idea of what the best of america is and go no further. To claim that they need to plant weapons on innocent iraqis is to dishonor the concept of service and I strongly reject that.

If you are suggesting that all republiCONS be killed, how about if we just sue BOTH parties for allowing this, then once bankrupt they will no longer exist along with the members of the parties. Then only bernie and ron paul will be left and we can start from scratch.

By the way, I agree with you, republiCONs are natural born assholes.

Just Do it. Or is it easier for you to fallow illegal orders and brake you oath to the constitution?
