In Milwaukee there were only 4 people and I here NYC was about the same. Looks like this movement is just a bunch of armchair activists. Lots of big talk online, just don't bother them with even taking one step of action.

I hate to say it Anonymous, but your video production does not exactly send shivers down ones spine. The message is wonderful, but the delivery is kind of silly. I suppose I am not one to talk.
I will reply to myself here with a video. It is meant as a supplement to your wonderful message.

To those of you here who are "confused," that's exactly what Thomas Jefferson feared about giving the electorate the vote.
Wake up! The RICH, corporate Amerika, our stolen govRenmental officials want you to be confused because it makes you feel powerless.
Power to the People will be restored when everyone wakes up and STOPS BEING CONFUSED. There is nothing confusing about watching your personal fortune, your country's economy and our future being STOLEN.

What a great post KB723, this is the best video, very informational 1.They have made significant profits for the banks at the people expense, 2. privatized profits into the hands of global banks, 3. Manipulation of the stock market, 4, The Federal Reserve caused inflation in the price of our food & gas. 5. Killing the dollar, 6. And Banker controlling how we are to vote. This fire is out of control, and we the people must get this fire under control: otherwise everything in it's path is destroyed forever. They are telling us what they plan to do to the future of our country, and showing us everyday. And still people will go out and vote for them. I just don't understand this. These are powerful issues. Remember the saying by the people for the people, of the people. This is America and we will fight for it. Stand together people VOTE!

When you recognize that ALL money is loaned into existence, and that the amount of money in circulation is controlled by the private banks and financial corporations that DO NOT have the best interest of the population at heart, the argument for taking that power away makes its own case.

Repost from elsewhere ...
... What? You don't like the little ant farm we live in? Unfortunately, the vast majority of the population needs exactly that ... structure beyond vision, walls that rise to infinity, soft and fuzzy chains ... and yes, Jesus with all his 1st century rules to live by. Perception is reality ... their fear is real and grows closer to terror every time they catch a fleeting glimpse of the open sky. They are frightened by new and unfamiliar, fresh and unknown; what is unseen is dangerous until proven otherwise.
These are the masses you must convince if you really want change. If you can help them see that shrieking fear mongers are leading them to the gallows, you might move their hearts. But do not discount that they are comfortable with the gallows, the familiar. It works for them and they get to play with their toys while waiting in line. They understand the system and trust that it will never take too much, only what it needs.
Not until they understand that the system will eat their intestines while they watch, not until they are more afraid of a familiar face than of a mask, not until the unknown is assured to be a better fate than purgatory, will there ever be real change ... and it will not be peaceful.

first of all, we dont live in the 1st century anymore. We still ride horse carriages but it is not our main form of transportation because we upgraded.
second of all, their fear is not real, it is manufactured and the system ensures that it remains "real" in their minds but it never was real to begin with. They are frightened by the things they are told to be frightened by, not the open sky. In the great words of Michael Douglas from american president, "they drink the sand because they dont know the difference."
Third of all, we don't have to convince them of anything if the fear mongers are rendered irrelevant, the "clouds will clear for them" so to speak.4th of all, how do you know it wont be peaceful? sounds like you are one of those fear mongers we should be avoiding. It won't be unknown, we already know about better alternatives to whatever fate they only think is possible.

Nobody said we live in the first, only that some subscribe to ideals that were created in that time, based on period knowledge.
And horse carriage was probably a better form of transport.Perception is reality, reading is fundamental.
Render Palin irrelevant, then call me ... collect.

The conclusion that the Federal Reserve is behind all of our problems is what concerns me. The removal of Bernacke (sp?) will not change a thing. I think the The Reserve took drastic action to limit the impact of another depression. They did this in the only manner they knew how. (I don't agree with those actions and I am sure alot of money was pumped out under the table. Certainly the problem could have been resolved in a different way by someome with a more creative view of economics.) What I find troubling is that the cooperation of both parties in the dereguiatiory climate led to the finacial meltdown. Where do you stop pointing the finger? The entire system is corrupt. From our corporate bought senators down to the Countrywide mortgage manager who sold mortgages to unqualified citizens. There is something deeply wrong in the center of this world's psyche.
By the way, any book titles you want to pass along will be well received. I like to get different perspectives. Thanks for the offer.

This is an excerpt from a sort of political manifesto I'm working on (do tell if I'm crazy):
"Oppression is the devolution of liberty, free thinking, and conscious happiness over a period of time no less than the rising and setting of the sun, or the blossoming of a flower. It moves steadily while appearing still, and will wrap you into a situation where you are reliant upon negligent forces, manipulated by the false comforts of trivial luxuries, and exploited by the humanistic instinct to resist change and adaptation in order to preserve energy. To rebel is a chore for the mind; but to live lacking these three virtues is a waste of life. Take heed, and surface the willpower to pursue what you truly desire."
Hello from Chandler, by the way.

I like it. We the people need to take power in our lives, without us there is no government, for whom are they to govern when we don't abide by their ultra-egotistical agenda. Power hungry people have a very strong will to gain in their personal interest, we peace hungry people must cultivate the will to promote a peaceful society. "Become the change you wish to see in the world." Gandhi hit it on the nail, the collective society must take a stand for what we know is right. We must look deep within ourselves and find our inner essence, through connecting from within, we can reach out to the world and do what is necessary to make ourselves heard, to stand up and say, we are the people of this world and we deserve the right to live free lives, void of dictatorship-like governments who impose their will upon us through mental manipulation via fear and other tactics. Our founding fathers had a clear vision of this freedom, and saw the tyranny that is rampant today on U.S. soil, and around the world. Read the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence. We must be able to live our lives as we choose to live them, and not allow "money" to dictate the well being of society. The Soviet Union collapsed over night, it is the awakening of the human consciousness, becoming aware of your true essence and therefore recognize the essence in everyone else. Don't play their game, play your own, by your rules. Hopefully there will be a collective shift in the human consciousness that will affect those "elite" who have such influence on politics, the economy and society, that they see an error in their ways. Hopefully, society at large will recognize the power WE already hold within ourselves, overthrow insidious government and corporation.

First, anybody can issue a press release in the name of "Anonymous"
This particular cause has nothing to do with Internet freedom, which is the usual stated mission of Anonymous.
In reality, this press release looks like the "end the Fed" nut job Ron Paul crowd is trying to hi-jack the name of Anonymous for their own cause.
We'll see if they have any real support from Anonymous come June 14th.

This is exactly what I was talking about when I was mentioning Macro Economics.
Something has to be done, but because of our debt infrastructure it is folly to think stopping business for a day or 48 hours or longer, will fix the problem. It will call attention to the problem. However the problems that will be created by an internet attack to shut down the Federal Reserve, will over-shadow any problems this Anonymous group wants to highlight.

Okay, I followed the link that accompanies this posted story. To be clear, is the group that calls itself Anonymous going to attack the US Federal Reserve, and other banking institutions after June 14, 2011?
Is the goal to shut down those banking systems targeted? If so, to what end is the purpose of shutting them down? What is the project gain from this attack? In other words, aside from the disruption, what is Anonymous trying to teach the banking industry?
I'm aware that for some people the mission statement and object of purpose seem clear, but to me it is unclear.
Does anyone have any possible answers to my questions that can make this much clearer to me?

Alrighty...I still have questions.
1. Protest in what way? Picket signs? Withdrawing funds from our personal bank accounts?
2. Who would be considered a suitable Bernake successor?
3. What is that they want the successor to do that Bernake is not currently doing, now?And to KB723...I'm unclear as to the "misdeeds".
1. Would that be the keeping of the interest rate at its current level?
2. Or is Anonymous asking for a lowering of the national interest rate?
3. If we put an end to the Federal Reserve, what do you think should take its place? And for the both of you, just how far do either you think Anonymous will go to attain there demands? And if these demands will not be met, in what way do either of you think the US citizens will be helped by this Anonymous protest/ quasi attacks?
Please do NOT read these questions as either condescending, nor a challenge to either of your positions and view points regarding Anonymous and its proposed protests / quasi attacks because it is not.

My answer is the Genocide that has happened because of their actions, if we will call that misdeeds... As for the interest rate, to whom does that actually apply to???The Fed was not created by citizens of this country but by bankers who took advantage of a recess in the Congress... The Fed is also owned by the Elites, not the American Taxpayers... All anonymous wants is for Bernanke to step down, which is as it's own nature pretty silly... They have another to fill Bernanke's shoes should he step down...
p.s. I took none of your questions as Condescending, they are great questions that I am sure many think of... =)

I don't know that Anonymous has an end goal other than better than this to which we've let ourselves be led.
From my perspective we are coming to a conscious awakening allowing humans the clarity to see through our own hindrances. Nationalism, religion and economy are all created devices to keep humans from their potential. People that care about each other and their planet will make the right choices for all and those that want to harm, horde and destroy will stand out among us, and will lose all power. Take money away and you take down a huge part of the wall that stands between us and ourselves..

Okay...I still have more questions. I hope I am not disturbing you by asking so many questions...but I have a problem with ..well...with trading terror by gun (WTC attacks, wars, etc...) for terror by internet.
I am aware of the The Federal Reserve Act (12 U.S.C. ch.3) and the Aldrich–Vreeland Act in 1908.that proceeded it. I know that its purpose was to centralize baking with the loss of the charter of the Second Bank of the United State charter. Moreover, I am also aware that since the The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was wrote in to law, the Federal Reserve act has the great responsibility of printing money. And I am aware that the responsibility was granted to the Federal reserve to provide stabilization of the US Currency. So I am going move on and get of the history lesson, lest it begins to come off as pedantic.
Okay...so my questions are these.
1. If we eliminated the Federal Reserve Bank, exactly what would you propose to take its place? Has Anonymous provided a plan to replace what is currently in place?
At one time this country had the unfortunate exercise of each State printing its own currency, and since that led to the currency not having any uniformity in value through out the US that practice was eliminated.
2: So question 2 is how do you handle the printing this nations currency. To whom do parse out this mega-responsibility? What has Anonymous suggested as a solution for this?
3. Since section 15 of The Federal Reserve Act also permitted Federal reserve banks to act as fiscal agents for the United States government, what would institute as a replacement for this? What is Anonymous asking as a replacement for this?
I'm asking because I fully comprehend the premise of Anarchy.:
"The theory or doctrine that all forms of government are unnecessary, oppressive, and undesirable and should be abolished." Anarchism is a negative; it holds that one thing, namely government, is bad and should be abolished. Aside from this defining tenet, it would be difficult to list any belief that all anarchists hold. Just as atheists might support or oppose any viewpoint consistent with the non-existence of God, anarchists might and indeed do hold the entire range of viewpoints consistent with the non-existence of the state. "And I get the theory of being a Revolutionist.
What I don't get.... is why merely causing confusion with out any solution is in my best interest. And to revert back to my original post....I really don't feel safe, (for lack of a better word) I just am terribly uncomfortable with people substituting internet terror (as opposed to terror by gun) as a resource for change.
I'm trying to wrap my mind around this and find a safe spot in this, but for the life of me...I haven't found it.
What are your thoughts? And have any of my concerns echoed any of your concerns?
. Because what these people are proposing is not a "Flash-Mob" to just draw attention to one's self...but to produce such an effect that it could possibly cause a government breakdown. I worry that there will be some sort of "Mexican Standoff" and the US and its citizens will suffer while either party waits for one another to blink. So it has me wondering whether their cause is dubious...and is it just the challenge of being able to flex their internet muscles, and then just sitting back watching country fail while waiting for the US Government to flinch. - 12 months ago

Thank you for the video.
I was aware of this quasi-expansion of the NAFTA and the desire of a US equivalent of a measure of currency like the Euro dollar. .I am also suspect and circumspect of Mr. Dobbs, because Mr. Dobbs' issues are well...issues that one should be suspect and circumspect of.
And you're right about Anonymous...it is often a confusing to determine for who's benefit Anonymous acts in behalf of.
I think before people jump in with both feet to this easy allure of a Che Guevara revolutionist and anarchist type of thinking, they had better do a bit of homework.
Being a revolutionist is not about wearing silly tea bags strung from hats. The Revolutionist often finds him or herself living as a doomed person, with no personal interests, no business affairs, no emotions, no attachments, no property, and no name. Everything in him is wholly absorbed in the single thought and the single passion for revolution.
It is provocative, and alluring to the disenfranchised to see one's self participating as an anarchist in a revolution screaming at the top of one's lungs: "Viva L' Revoluccion!" .
Thanks for being a bit patient me. I appreciate the help.

Okay...and what do you propose to put in its place?
I'm not saying the answer is to passively sit by, but running through the streets punching people in their heads because you think it might suddenly jump start their brains is not a solution either. (and the "running through the streets..." is a metaphorical analogy)
That is why I have so many questions.
If by some skill these Anonymous people are able to pull this off, (this disruption of the Federal Reserve Bank) the consequences will be much different that of not being able to play a few PlayStation games or watch movies on Netflix.
I think this group has a very provocative allure and people are jumping on a bandwagon that hasn't got a road-map or a wagoner to lead it.
This isn't just stealing confidential information from Citibank. This isn't just exposing holes in Government internet security.
These folks claim to wrestle control from the Federal Reserve and hold it hostage until its demands are met. And THAT...that troubles me greatly.
Now this break in may just lofty ideas and wishful thinking...but in the event that it is not, and in the event that these Anonymous people can somehow pull this off...it will be quite devastating for the American public, and certain other world Governments who also depend on the Federal Reserve.
And I'm not sure that people who are following them, ...I'm not sure those people have enough background in Macro-Economics to know just how dangerous a situation this disruption can produce. It's not something that will take days to be felt by the American public. You will not have to be wealthy to suffer the adverse effects. It will be felt immediately and it will be felt by everyone.
It is the lack of Economic knowledge of their followers of this Anonymous group that troubles me.

Sadly, it's gonna take more than taking apart the Fed to do any good. See video I posted above. This problem pre-dates the Revolutionary War, and might well have been a contributing factor if the documentarian presented the real deal.

Understandably there will be a time of transition that is hard. Many people are aware but many hold on to doubts that extreme change must take place. It is in the hardest times that people come together.Their true selves come through the unimportant chains that have kept them from acting as they should have all along. We live with blinders if we think we need made up institutions ruling our lives. We have the ability to offer the answers to issues politicians won't ever consider and will. They have dropped their pants and shown us money has no true worth.
I personally have simply come to a point that I can not in good conscience allow the decisions being made in all of our names to be. The simplest way to the heart of it all is to eliminate the false controls. - 12 months ago

The Fed was trouble before Bernanke, and it will be trouble after his day there is done. The problem is the established system, not the flunkies that baby sit it for a spell throughout history.

All valid questions, hsouixz and good points. I was reading up on this group on Wikipedia this morning and I got the impression from that article that this group was a collective of very young persons stepping into grown up realms. I commend them for the work they have done in support of Wikileaks and Internet access for the uprising. These actions came later than their earlier stuff which in more than a few instances seemed rather immature. Maybe they are growing into themselves now. I suppose a majority of us are looking for a way, any way, to change the current situation or to at least be the catalyst that is needed. Especially since it appears that no help will come from our electorate. Your voice of reason and seeing beyond the 'moment' to the 'what next?', is maybe something we should consider before jumping the cart.
I suppose the only question I might add is, what public place? At any given time during a single day or night there are persons occupying a public place. If a single person goes to a public place wearing as sign and sitting for hours, well, that's not very effective. I ask because I am not adverse to a sit-in protest or rally, the last one I attended was for Wisc. and was held in New York.

When one makes the commitment to occupy a public space until Ben Bernanke steps down, he or she better be prepared to stay there a long, long, long time (unless of course they ultimately get arrested). However, once released, he or she should go right back to the same space, again and again. This is not a game, it is for real. Do you have what it takes to take a public stand? Are you willing to put your body on the cogs of the machine? Expect us.
