The most recent video evidence of the American police state comes to us from RT contributor Adam Kokesh of Adam vs. The Man.
adamvstheman. com reports:
On May 28, 2011 Television host Adam Kokesh and several other activists participating in a flash-mob were arrested at the publicly-funded Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Their crime? Silently dancing, in celebration of the first amendment's champion; a clear violation of their right to free-expression. In an excessive use of force, video was captured of Adam being body slammed and placed in a choke for his non-crime.

I don't think your pissing anyone off, but I do think you embarrass yourself with your feeble minded analysis.
Claiming Bush and Obama, Republicans and Democrats, are the same, is a deeply flawed and terribly shallow position, and smacks of the most naive libertarianism.
Of course, calling community members "sheeple" probably reveals a much deeper anti-social dysfunction.
Good luck with that. - 11 months ago

So... Obama is like Hitler because Bradley Manning is in jail and labor unions are being destroyed? Those dots are pretty far apart. Like I have said in other threads We need to repair what we have either by fireing all those that are taking money from big corp or by removeing those in power that vote againest the Genral public. As I see things now We need a complete overhaul of our Government. So in short Yes I blame both the republicant's and the democant's. Bradley Manning is accused of leaking classified information and has not yet gone to trial for this crime. The author of this article claims: "Sure he may be guilty of leaking other classified documents, but why should we have classified documents if everything we are doing is 100% moral and legal? " how utterly naive!
this author goes on to say:" Bradley Manning is a hero, and President Obama continues to hold him. That alone is enough reason to not re-elect Obama in 2012"
oh, for christ's sake - what a bunch of right wing bullshit.
If McCain had been in the whitehouse instead of Obama, Manning would likely have been executed - 11 months ago

This is why Bradley Manning is in prison. Obama has the power to pardon him. He is a victim of Obama because during a recent fundraiser in San Francisco, Obama was caught on tape talking to a Bradley Manning supporter saying that Brad Broke the law. He hasn't even had a trial, and the commander and chief declared him guilty, after running a campaign based on transparency. Obama is Brad's & transparency's worst enemy right now.

This is part of a simple minded yet concerted effort to smear Obama. While the headline claims "Obama is a fraud" the posted article has nothing to do with Obama.
It may be a right wing false flag operation, or it may be just some confused and ignorant libertarian who really believes Democrats and Republicans are actually the same, a belief that is patently absurd, a belief that is indicative of a juvenile or otherwise malformed intellect. - 11 months ago

A belief that is rooted in fact. I'm a solid Liberal as anyone who has read my post knows, but I am not a blind follower. Obama has more in common with Bush than anyone else. He still has all of Bushes holdover cronies in place He hasn't changed anything. In fact he kept all the worst policies of the Bush years, and even expanded many.
I was excited at Obama's election. I thought, "FINALLY, we would get away from the Facist direction that the republican's took us.Two and a half years later, what has changed? nothing.
Would I want the Repugs back? HELL NO!, but don't kid yourself into thinking that Obama and the Democrats care for the people any more than the Repugs do. What they both care about more than anything else are the Benjamins. Given the choice they would throw you, me and everyone else under the bus if the banksters told them to. The issue at hand, as I see it, is that we all keep feeding the bipartisan paradigm loop by putting unnecessary amounts of energy into either supporting or objecting to these two sides of the same coin.
It might be more beneficial to invest our energies into a less exclusive worldview.
So, instead of blaming/insulting cartoonish concepts of Bush or Obama, what if we redirected ourselves both individually and communally? How else will something new manifest? Two quotes come to mind:
1. Insanity = doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.
2. Don't be lonesome for your heroes, BE your own hero.

Why would you want to free a man accused of stealing confidential information from the government. If you or I had been accused of stealing we would be in jail. Trials don't seem to come quickly Military or civil court. No one should be released untill they are proven innocent.
If we could have Assange we would charge him, but he is not being released to the US..
Obama never campaigned on universal health care. He did want to give us a choice of a public option or staying with the big Insurance companies. He could not get the votes for public option, even from all of his own party. What he got was through reconciliation, needing 51 votes. Has many good things for people that need health care.
He agreed for two more years of Bush tax cuts so he could renew tax cuts, he gave the middle class, plus a payroll tax cut, plus extention of unemployment, plus extending funds for planned parenthood. We'll see if they are renewed in two years. For sure if republicans take the White House, they will be renewed.
He has brought 100,000 combat troops home from Iraq. The other 50.000 by end of this year or first of next year.
We don't have troops on the ground in Libya or Yemen. No war has been declared. We are helping the innocent people these dictators are killing. They are torturing their own people.
