You left out the part where the Federal troops murder citizens by the millions to restore order-----as they have been used by the uberrich down throughout time.
Uberrich will gladly stomp your children to death before your eyes before giving up one bit of power or control!

The spririt that resides in all, Screams for release. It has been on the Path to Hell for so long that it thirsts for even a Glimpse of Heaven. When we look around and see the Hard Working American on the Floor of the Stock Exchange in 2008, you will see the look of True Spiritual Terror as the economic meltdown proceeded down the Path to Hell. Ask the People in the Middle East that struggle not only for their freedom but also their very lifes. Ask those people what path they are on. The path to hell is not littered with good intentions it is littered with the bodies of the innocent. Ask the innocents that live South the Border in Mexico which path they are on. It is littered with the poor and hungry and murdered. The Path to Hell is littered with economies that have failed the People. If you hear the cries for civil war, remember the death and destruction in all war. Know that you are experiencing the fringe of hell. This path leads through hell and not just to it. Recognize the path we are on and change paths. Learn to recognize the right path to peace and happiness. See the children playing with large smiles on their face. Where does that smile come from . It comes from the spirit that has been uplifted and a child that now celebrates life and the joy of the moment on the path to Heaven.

When people can make their mortgage payments again and actually have an income that can pay the bills and relieve the stress of day to day living for the American Family and lift up their Spirits and renew the Great American Spirit in all of us that now find ourselves on the path to hell. When Americans can afford health insurance and have the money for food and lower the need for food stamps (which are passed out freely on the path to Heaven yet stand in line and wait for hours on the path to hell). The people that scream, I don't want to pay for your food stamps with my taxes at the innocents that walk next to them on the path to hell. Before you take action, recognize the path you are on. Put yourself on the path to heaven and avoid the pitfals of the other path when you seek solutions. There are no solutions on the Path to Hell. Seek leadership that is compassionate with their policy making...Seek leadership that forgives not only the human condition but also forgives all people on the road to hell. See with your eyes looking at all people and hear with your ears the shouts of pain and devastation that all too many Americans and All Peoples around the Globe hear today. It is after all a world of Globilization.
BREAKING NEWS...unofficial sources with the utmost reliability and in meetings close to GOD have announced that GOD is postponing the 2012 Apocolypse. It was also reported that he believed it important that we take the appropriations for the 2012 Apocolyptic event and use that revenue to help rebuild the infrastructure on the path to Heaven as he is expecting much heavier traffic conditions than previously forecast. GOD feels it is of the upmost importance that funding come from projects now being cancelled on the Path to Hell. Calls have been left with the Devil to get his take on this budget change. So far only officials at the Gates of Hell have responded with "Things don't look good on the road to hell but we will continue to work with GODS representatives to try and come to some agreement. We are hoping that GOD will allow us to divert some of that excess traffic into hell and justify keeping some of the appropriations".

We don't have an FDR to bring us through it this time. It's easy to type it on a message board, not so easy to live it out.

My husband and I have nothing to lose when this economy callapses. With that said, I still don't see Obama doing an FDR style New Deal 2. Obama has joined the country club and he wants to stay a member. As I've said before, when this economy collapses, there will be utter chaos, violence and an every man/woman for themselves mentality. We shall see who aligns with who when that happens. There will be a change alright, but pretty bleak one. The powers that be will think only of self-preservation, just like how the rich flooded into the life boats on the Titanic and lowered them to the water, half full.

He doesn't have to seize assets to pay off the debt. Too many people would scream socialism/communism if he did that. The solution is so simple to implement. All he needs to do is take control over the issue of currency. Our country does not control the currency, the Federal Reserve does, a private company that is in bed with all the rich banks to control our economy. Lincoln did it with the Green back. Currency issued by the United States. He could issue enough currency to pay off the debt, then ban the U.S. from being able to go into debt, change the banking reserve requirements to 100% over a ten year period. That is about the only way I can see out of this. The big banks will fight tooth and nail every bit of the way, and they have the power structure on their side, so it will take something drastic, like a total collapse, public uprising or both to get it done.

An economic collapse right before the election is just as likely to hurt Obama in my opinion. There are too many people who just don't understand what is going on in politics to know that the Republicans have a lot of blame for what is going on - and they could reflexively just vote against those in power.

If he were to seize all the assets of the richest people in the country arbitrarily and we start engaging in open class warfare, it will lead us to places we might not want to go to. Obama cannot simply seize the wealth of the richest Americans.

We all want a quick fix, but there is no quick fix. If Obama did what you wrote, then we have a lot to fear. I did not like the whole thing about arrests by the thousands, and re-education camps. It sounds like anyone can be labeled a "Fascist Republican" and be arrested - will we also have to conform to certain ways of thinking to avoid arrest? I fled from a country where power was wielded arbitrarily by the government - and I would flee it again.

I just wish we beat their butts in a landslide election, get huge majorities and pass everything we need to pass without their obstruction, "a la 1930s." I think it's a dream, but hey...

I'm a Democrat, but this is certainly not something I would fall in love with!

I love to read what you write. I do think that to continue to believe that votes can affect change in these rotten, false, imprisoning institutions is like letting the insurance companies and doctors decide what direction healthcare should go. It is up to us, not them, to share and care about each other and our individual perceptions while striving to find happiness for all. I am sorry for those that allow purposeful impositions to keep them from seeing the simplicity of the answers.

The Economic house of cards collapse is coming, those of us with nothing, have nothing to fear. Like I have been saying all along it is better to have a Democrat in the White House when times are tuff for our citizens, because we saw what happened when a Republican was there in 2008, who got saved?
