Respectfully to you: My opinion: I hate organized religion in general for many reasons I won't bore you with. Weiner committed no crime. The judgement was just dreadful but George Bush did far worse things and his resignation was never seriously demanded. Bush is a war criminal and a traitor. As a Jew myself, I have to confess to a bias that I can't shake nor do I necesarrily want to since I have learned from history that an entire people can be wiped off the earth and that other nations will stand by and let it happen. I am always cynical and wary of anything in the media dealing with Israel and what it does. So far, I have heard nothing of a reported dumping by Israel of nuclear waste on the USA.by other news outlets including MSNBC. Why hasn't Keith Olbermann reported on this? Now I realize not everyone would think this way, and I am sorry personally for my ethnocentrism, but I have no problem with my ethnic pride nor can I back down in good conscience from a debate about anything having to do with Israel.

I really enjoyed reading your post. I understand that hate exists on the left as well as the right, but man I am ashamed to say whom I voted for in the past because when I was younger, I was a one issue voter: Israel.

Now thankfully, I out grew that and now vote for whom I think is best for THIS country, not necessarily best for Israel. After all, I live here, not there. Hence, I voted for Obama, knowing full well he may not be as great for Israel as say McCain would have been. And even after Obama called for Israel to withdrawl to sixty-seven borders with swaps, I did not go wacky and decide not to vote for him again. My atitude, not matter who is president of the US, Israel will do what it must to protect itself, the nations of the world be damned. Besides I would NEVER vote for a Republican.
