its seems (to me) like every attempt to bring down Monsanto is just an epic fail..money talks bullshit walks... and apparently the FDA is bought out by these selfish corporations to STFU and walk away.... ;(((... what else can we do? ....

Adorable!! Once again it is all about the $$$$$$$$$$$......I say food should be labeled like cigarettes if they have any pesticides used on them when they are growing......Maybe then organic foods price would go down because of supply and demand........The USDA needs to see this video.....what a cute kid!!

See the problem with pesticides is more complex than to just assume that labeling in-organic foods would solve any problems. Pesticides are are extremely toxic to the soil , our water, and in effect actually cause damage to all nature (which affects all earth and everyone in it). When it comes to food i think natural selection should decide what we eat not man trying to play "GOD" ...

My point is to say Hey this shit has poison on it....eat at your own risk......I do agree that natural selection is the best way to go but until or even if that will ever happen......EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK THIS SHIT HAS POISON ON IT would tell me not to buy it.....

This is what we get when we let the "free market" giving us food! Unhealthy, poison.

H2O_4U:
If there was indeed a "free'' market that didn't inhibit organics due to prohibitive and onerous 'regulating' and 'licensing' fees and other govt 'over-sight'... there might well be a more abundant supply of affordable organic fruit and vegetables readily available.
. . . don't get me wrong here, because what really should be done in my humble opinion, is for the govt FDA to actually monitor and police food additives for the benefit of national health, rather than the food industries 'special interests'. . . your thoughts? - 11 months ago

Agreed, a true free market would have let farmers do as they did way back when, and not worry about regulations beating the shit out of their choices and the market's choices... Now we're in a slick/sick situation with the FDA... While on the surface it sounded swell, but the impact is further reaching than what the people thought it intended. What we have is NOT a free market, i don't know how people keep assuming that shit. The idea of an independent food monitoring company would be far greater than the FDA. They wouldn't be able to harass farmers or food marketers, but they would have the right to post their findings on the food itself. I'm pretty sure that would purge our supermarkets quite quick.

How adorable! Out of the mouths of babes. More people need to see this or do there own experiments. Also, try growing two plants side by side, water one with plain water, water the other with microwaved water. Spread the word.

The farm-middlemen-grocerystore-consumer strategy, installing the big rakeoff at the middlemen level, requires far more shelf-life than farmer-to-consumer. But there's lots of slack available to support the use of poison (who cares?) to allow preservation of potatoes etc while the commodities markets work the miracle of Capitalism. The spread between the four cents the farmer gets and the dollar-something tuber we pay for at Safeway provides not just a handy source of wealth per se for the futures markets players, it provides cash flow for food "scientists" to purchase "better living through chemistry" for the wealthy.

That was beautiful. Facts presented by the very reason we should care about them: our children; the future. What kind of world are we going to leave our children? Will it be further bastardized by industry/greed/profit? Should we care more about profits or our children and their future on this planet?

This is an excellent video......how much more obvious can it get, what we are doing to our digestive systems? There is no substitute to fresh organic fruits and vegetables. Even if you can't taste the difference, your body can tell the difference.
