Rand Paul TeaBags and Gets Bent Over!

TheAmbivalante
No, it's not hot Senator-on-Senator sex. It's Rand Paul running into the same problem that every TeaBagger runs into when they try to apply their fanatical corporate ideology to the realities that their love of the free market has created: it hurts real people.

Speaking of real people, watch two real people, Senators Bernie Sanders and Al Franken, work to move the Older Americans Act (OAA) forward whilst taking a moment to educate Rand Paul.

CAUGHT ON VIDEO: If you look closely at about the 3:20 mark, you can see Corporate America's puppet strings attached to Rand's head.

    • "well if we give them $2,000,000,000 what will stop us from giving them $20,000,000,000."

If we give them 2 bil and save far more than that, why wouldn't we give 20 and save even more?

Although it would require making sure the numbers add up, if everything works out, then why not?

    • I'm sure you all noticed that when Rand Paul lost his argument he shifted his stance to 'well if we give them $2,000,000,000 what will stop us from giving them $20,000,000,000.

What is sad is that Rand Paul KNOWS Sanders and Franken are correct. But this argument goes on despite the fact the rich are not being asked to contribute more while the defense budget sucks up half of every tax dollar we pay.

    • The sad thing is no matter how many times Bernie and Al apply the belt to Paul's buttocks, he will never get the point. Trying to teach him compassion is like trying to teach a pig to sing; it is a waste of your time and it annoys the pig. Tea Baggers should just bow out of their medicare, social security and all other programs, and when times get tough, drop! And yet they will fight to the death to keep their medicare, and you can't explain to them it's a GOVERNMENT PROGRAM!

    • Way to go Bernie! Rand Paul is an asshole. Private charities are not going to take care of the amount of people that need to be taken care of in this country. We need 100 more people like Bernie.

    • Ya know Rand, if you throw people to the dogs they will become like animals. So when someone bites you on the ass because of your ignorance you can reflect on this statement as your wonder why.

His father probably is ashame of him. Went to school to become a doctor and gave that up to become a liar! And to boot no medical organization would have him. So he had to make up his own. Well a least in DC he's not seeing any patients.

    • Bernie Sanders speaks from wisdom and epitomizes the position of a Senator representing the people.

Rand Paul speaks from being a twerp and degrades the position of Senator.
He does not represent the people...

      1. Eliminate Excessive Taxes
      2. Eliminate the National Debt
      3. Eliminate Deficit Spending
      4. Protect Free Markets
      5. Abide by the Constitution of the United States
      6. Promote Civic Responsibility
      7. Reduce the Overall Size of Government
      8. Believe in the People
      9. Avoid the Pitfalls of Politics
      10. Maintain Local Independence

"fanatical corporate ideology" huh. This is why the Tea Party haters like Pelosi, Moore and the rest of the trash don't like the Tea Party. The movement stands opposed to their program of statism and control of the people. That is also why the rest of us put things such as pictures of Pelosi, Moore and the rest on the bottom of the bird cage. This constant effort to vilify the Palins, Bachmans, Tea Partiers, Fox News , conservatives etc., etc is pathetic and humorous. Too bad a lot of the non-thinking and easily lead will believe the lies but there is always a segment in society who easily follows.
Re-electing Obummer in 2012 will continue the disaster we have now. Ron Paul is the only candidate I see on the horizon who is different and will, perhaps, change the model. Call him what you will we can smell the fear.

Thank you for that list, Paratus. What a wonderful less-than-precise, looks-good-on-paper list!

      Fanatical. Yup.
      Corporate. Yes.
      Ideology. Check.

If you honestly believe that the agenda of the left is 'statism and control of the people,' you really need to seek help. That kind of rhetoric is both paranoid and hyperbolic.

The disaster that Obama inherited will take many, many Dems, Progressives and Liberals many, many years to clean up. And right wingers are doing everything they can to stop any progress. Child Protection Improvements Act - filibuster. Torture Victims Relief Re-authorization Act - filibuster. FIT Kids Act - filibuster. Veterans Business Center act - filibuster. Educating Entrepreneurs through Today’s Technology Act - filibuster. Expanding Entrepreneurship Act - filibuster. Small Business Development Centers Modernization Act - filibuster. National Guard Employment Protection Act - filibuster. A Child Is Missing Alert and Recovery Center Act - filibuster. And on and on.

It doesn't matter if your Libertine or GOP or TeaBag, or whatever brand of narcissist you are, all of this shit is visible and perceived by the majority of sane people as Republicans on crack doing whatever they can for big corporations that supply the rock. So, best of luck with your efforts to differentiate the TeaBaggers from the GOP or the local residents of the insane asylum. It's a waste of time.

And please believe in Ron Paul. Put your heart and soul into him. Dump money into his campaign. Or Mitt's. Or Newt's Or Jesus F. Christ's. There ain't nobody who will come within striking distance of The President of the United States.

Core beliefs of the Tea Party :

      1. Eliminate Excessive Taxes

Excessive = Any taxes especially those on the rich

      2. Eliminate the National Debt

By dismantling all of our social safety nets... not by levying non-excessive taxes on rich people

      3. Eliminate Deficit Spending

Without cutting the military or farm/oil subsidies

      4. Protect Free Markets

Whether they work or not ... what was that about subsidies?

      5. Abide by the Constitution of the United States

As long as it is interpreted in a way that I like

      6. Promote Civic Responsibility

By making the poor responsible for the mistakes and greed of the uber wealthy

      7. Reduce the Overall Size of Government

Why? no reason. That's just in there so that our leaders can justify ridiculous tax cuts on rich people and cuts to vital social programs.

      8. Believe in the People

To fend for themselves without any government aid, even if they desperately and justifiably need it

      9. Avoid the Pitfalls of Politics

Because people with other opinions don't matter

      10. Maintain Local Independence

So minorities can be discriminated against if they happen to live in areas that think they are all just a bunch of welfare check collecting waste machines.

    • Wasn't Rand Paul a Doctor? Where's the compassion? Oh that's right, he specialized. Guess that's not like a real doctor. Did you notice how quick he was to shift responsibility to charity organizations?

That is what would happen if there is a "legit" challenger like Sanders. But Bernie knows that. If he runs he might as well be a Republican. We have to kill the snake (conservative agenda) before we can consider a third party / Independent candidate. As it is voter suppression is going to play havoc on the 2012 election. As Republicans continue to do all they can to sink the economy, Obama's chances are diminished. It's going to be a tough road. What we all need to ponder is what it would be like with one of the Republicans in the oval office.
