The US Supreme Court’s conservative majority continued its project of bartering off American democracy to the highest bidder with a decision Monday that will make it dramatically harder to counter free-spending attack campaigns funded by billionaire donors and corporate spin machines. http://www.thenation.com/blog/161673/supreme-court-removes-another-barrier-corpo...

    • I post news stories in the hope that they will stimulate independent thought and critical thinking in others. I hope that they too will look at the world around them with open eyes and an open mind and ask pertinent questions, do their own research, analyze the data using logic, reason and common sense and draw their own conclusions. Sadly, the deliberately dumbed down, thoroughly brainwashed, totally indoctrinated and hopelessly stupid sheeple that comprise vast majority of the American population are incapable of doing so. However, what I purpose can be done by anyone... do not comply!!!

I believe that the most effective course of action would be one of noncompliance and refusal to participate. For it is our very compliance and participation that empowers them. If we stopped participating in the phony, totally rigged electoral system that changes NOTHING NO MATTER WHO HOLDS OFFICE. Third Party Candidates have no power and never will. If we stopped paying taxes, stopped joining the military, stopped putting our money into the corrupt stock markets and banking systems, and stopped watching, listening to, reading and supporting the mainstream corporate media in every way, and stop sending our kids to public schools for indoctrination rather than education, we the people would have ALL of the power back!!! We could establish the "Constitutional Republic" that was outlined in our founding documents...anything else is an exercise in futility.
