I'm inferring here but i think this is either an advance in democracy, or a symbol of the 10 years we have spent in that place which is that we have serve as a catalyst that accentuated the social rift - in some cases served as a common and larger enemy to bring former adversaries on the same side-. I fear that we will be one of those foolish empires that went and died in that place.
