Brooks Arrested - Fox News - Journal & GOP Collude to Shill Murdoch's Criminal Probes

Colluding with his Republicans Tea Party employees, Rupert Murdoch imposed facts-blackout at his US propaganda outlets - The Wall Street Journal, Fox News and the New York Post - to shill allegation of systematic corruptions against him.

Meanwhile on Sunday Scotland Yard arrested Murdoch's "first priority" Rebekah Brooks.

The ever-growing scandal, mesmerizes dozens of thousands of newspapers and bloggers, in what became UK's historic unanimous revolt, against the Murdoch family three-decedes suffocation.

Murdoch's owned media however, ignored the biggest story of the year. The Wall Street Journal, New York Post and Fox News reacted only to belittle and swindle attention away from the unfolding News Corp disaster.

Within a week, Murdoch "above the law" status was gone and he became the most hated man in the UK.

Murdoch's News Corp, is being investigated for allegations of thousands of phone hacking incidents, police bribes, cover-ups and conspiracy to obstruct justice, false testimonies and erasing millions of emails from companies computers.

Last week, US attorney general Eric Holder, confirmed that the US government was also investigating News Corp: "There have been serious allegations raised in that regard in Great Britain, there is an ongoing investigation," he said in Sydney, Australia, where he met with counterparts from Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand.

Ten days into the UK Spring but Murdoch's nightmare, his Wall Street Journal stained its reputation yet again, by published an "interview" with their boss, in which Murdoch asserted he did "extremely well in every way possible" and proclaimed “it’s important to absolutely establish our integrity.”

The Wall Street Journal did not bother asking their 80-year-old bully-boss, Rupert Murdoch, to to account for a single criminal accusation against him.

New York Times's Joe Nocera wrote: "The Journal was turned into a propaganda vehicle for its owner’s conservative views. "It’s official. The Wall Street Journal has been Fox-ified."

Murdoch flipped his defiant tune, after he was served with an injunction to answer question by UK parliament select committee on Tuesday, along with his son James and his UK chief deputy, Rebekah Brooks - who resigned at the end of two week relentless public pressure and was arrested Sunday afternoon in London.

Murdoch had to reverse his previous statement defending Brooks, by accepted her third resignation attempt.

News Corp then place full page adds in seven leading UK Newspapers for two days to apologies for its "wrongdoing". A new PR stunt. Many more expected.

Few hours after Brooks resignation, Murdoch's first News Corp lieutenant, the Wall street and Dow Jones editor in chief Les Hinton, resigned as well. He served his boss for 57 years.

It is heard to imagine that Hinton and Murdoch's family fate won't be the same as Rebekah Brooks's, sooner or later.

The Wall Street Journal and Hinton, were targeted by the media, because the phone-hacking scandal occurred when Hinton was in charge of News Corp's British newspapers.

The Guardian Newspaper broke "Murdochgate" and stuck to it despite police and politicians immense pressure. It continues leading the world press with live coverage of the drama on its wevsite: guardian.co.uk. "Murdoch's bloody Friday" it wrote when Brooks and Hinton resigned.

The Wall Street Journal, that Murdoch purchased in December 2007, under false pretenses to maintain the paper's and the Dow Jones's revered business-journalistic status, soon became part of News Corp "Lying Machine" like Fox News and The News of The world.

Within the past two weeks, News Corp is being probed by a special investigating Lord judge, the Scotland Yard and a UK parliamentary panel.

In the US, the FBI as well as US parliamentary committees, vowed to invesigated News Corp. Australian inquiry is pending too.

But Fox News journalist Steve Doocy could'nt care less: "The company has come forward and said: 'look, this happened a long time ago, at a tabloid, in London, somebody did something really bad,' and the company reacted. They closed that newspaper, all the people got fired, even though 99 percent of them had nothing to do with it."

The Guardian wrote: "Doocy's guest, public relations consultant Robert Dilenschneider, was in agreement: "If I am not mistaken, Murdoch, who owns it, has apologised but for some reason, the public, the media keeps on going over this, again and again. It's a little bit too much."

"The bigger issue is hacking and how we as a public are going to protect outselves," said Dilenschneider, who earlier listed a number of US companies which had recently become the targets of hacking." the Guardian wrote.

"Doocy added later: "One of the things about the media, you look at some sites and you would think that martians had landed in New Jersey - again"

Republican Senator John McCain who used Fox News as his bastion of power, during his presidential campaign, rushed to concur and rejected any US invesigation. "It seems to me that this is a British issue that needs to be resolved first," he told Sky News. "I've heard of no evidence or allegation yet of anything being done in the United States of America."

Meanwhile the FBI investigate claims of News Corp 9/11 phone-hacking and conspiracy to shill the alleged crimes by Murdoch's employees some of whom are senior Republican politicians.

Again and again? Is this idiot serious? Do they really expect ANYONE to have sympathy for NewsCorp? They broke the law, they invaded peoples privacy, they bribed local and government officials and this fool wonders why the media keeps going over it?

    • It would seem obvious that anyone trying to protect Murdoch also has something to hide! Murdoch and his legions supported McCain ....what did they cook up ?
Think of who was in power during this Murdoch scam...they will somehow be involved...especially Rove....this has a Rove stink all over it....I can only hope the investigation on this side of the pond goes deep enough!

    • I hope that the US government does a proper job investigating and does not push this under the rug. I also hope that the GOP are shaking in their boots as they have been in cahoots with Murdoch for years.

For Fox News (part of News Corp) to claim that the bigger issue is how the public is going to protect itselves from hacking is double talk. They were the ones hacking not being hacked. Trying to claim they are innocent is ludicious. They still want the fox to guard the hen house.

And the other news organization in the US better cover this story or the public will know for sure who your masters are.

You got that right. I have stopped watching Meet the Press. Gregory is such a wimp. I do not understand how MSNBC could have hired him to replace Tim Russert. I find that he is very soft on the GOP and allows them to lie without calling them out on it. He never asked them any tough questions either. He is also so unprepared. Tim was the best in getting to the truth. I know that it is hard to replace Russert, but they could have done a better job of finding a tougher interviewer.

That is for sure. CNN is not even questioning Piers Morgan on what involvement he may have had in the hacking when he was working for News World. It seems that the MSM in the States are afraid of Murdoch or in collusion since they are all owned by big Corporations.

I am worried that nothing will happen to him in the States. Let us hope that England really has proof the Murdoch knew about the hacking and the bribery. The US government would then have to follow through on investigating him and the FCC would then be able to shut him down or split up his holdngs (if they have to balls).

The only thing close to in-depth reporting in the States is '60 Minutes'. In Canada we have 'The 5th Estate' that will devote a whole hour to an issue and can be tough on politicians. But investigative reporters are becoming a dying breed.

When I heard that Peter King called for and investigation, I wondered if all he was doing was covering his ass with the voters of NY. However, maybe he has a problem with a major shareholder of World News being a Muslim. I guess you could take your pick.

It will be interesting to see what the Guardian has actually dug up since they have been on this issue from 2003. Until the public outcry when they found out that ordinary citizens were being hacked they couldn't get the British government to act on anything except to go for the small potatoes in World News. There maybe many police and politicians in England that fall. I'm hoping that someone higher up the food chain in British politics or in Scotland Yard have something that they held as insurance to cover their own ass that can convict Murdoch himself.

You do know that it is almost impossible to bury e-mails and text messages these days. Forensic science advancements in computers and cell phones have come a long way. E-mail and cell phone providers also keep records for a certain amount of time. However, Murdoch may have covered his tracks by using throw away cell phones or snail mail that could then be shredded. I wouldn't put it past him. Time will tell.

I'm with you. Sometimes a conspiracy is a conspiracy. I still wonder about Kennedy's assasination and I'm not a conspiracy nut either. But when it quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, the probability that it is a duck is extremely high. Although, I am skeptical that he will get charge with anything himself, I am hoping that the FCC takes his licenses away from him. But then again I've always been a dreamer.

Also, there is no way that Rogers Ailes isn't involved in the whole thing as well. I'm hoping that if the FBI or the DOJ do a proper job, they will be able to connect the dots right back to Fox News. Do you remember when there was this claim about Barbara Boxer being in cahoots with Jewish Spys? I always thought Fox News was involved in that.

I can almost see Obama licking his chops on this since he tried to tell the American people that Fox News was not a real news organization but a propaganda arm of the GOP. The MSM allowed this to issue to go quietly into the night. Maybe this time it's too big to die a quick death. I hope, I hope, I hope!!!!

The Boxer thing was back in early 2009, I believe. There was a claim that she was writing to Jewish spys or something like that while being in charge of the Intelligence Committee. I can remember her denying it on MSNBC. I can't remember the exact details, but I do remember how outraged she was about it. Maybe someone on here remembers it and can give us the exact details. I never heard if anything came of it, though. It was another one of those stories the ran for about a week and disappeared.

I hope your are right about this not going away. However, as far as other News orgranizations goes, how many times has Fox carried a fake story until the others finally cover it? For example, the whole fake teabag grass roots and the fake townhall outraged during the health care debate, that was pushed by Fox until other organizations covered them ad-nausum. However, when the GOP were being hammer this year by their constituence about Ryan's Budget and there were major protests in Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, NJ, NY, Flordia, PA, etc. by real grass root voters, they were hardly covered. And then there was Fox using fake video with palm trees claiming it was of violent Wisconsin protestors and the other orgranization did not call them out on it. Even CNN is starting to sound like a mini-Fox. I hoping this is a wake up call for all News organizations.

It's not out of the question. If they do, this is going to get very, very ugly for the GOP. I'm willing to say with 100% certainty that the way they did business in England is the way they do business all over the world.

Well, as you predicted the first death has happened. The phone hacking whisleblower was found dead. It appears that Murdoch is sending a message to those that maybe willing to speak the truth. We will have to wait and see who is next. Of course they are not treating it as suspicious, just unexplained. Want to make a bet that he was given an over-dose to prevent him from revealing anything more?

Hollywood could not have done a better job writing this whole saga. It's not over yet, but let us hope the British police do a proper job investigating his death. I don't believe in coincidences, so his death really sounds fishy to me.

They are already starting the spin in the States trying to claim that Murdoch didn't know anything about the whole hacking scandal and that everyone shouldn't be so quick to rush to judgement. I say there is no rush, it been years coming and I hope this whole mess takes him and his son down.

In the meantime, I hope that everyone that is in his crosshairs takes extra care in protecting themselves.

    • Excellent! Interesting post jonber!

The spin on Faux the other day was bizarre! It was typical Fox though, it is how they operate, the usual uniformed Fox viewer would come away, from what Doocy and Dilenschneider said, thinking that some big meanie had hacked into the Fox computers, even naming other companies that had been hacked in the past. It was a wtf kind of moment.

    • Oh that John McCain, he is so ridiculous. Once upon a time people had respect for him, but he seemed to have totally lost it during the 2008 campaign and I wonder if he doesn't have severe short term memory loss.

But here's the thing: We are told we have a "free press." We do not. The media reports stuff that doesn't mean anything but it NEVER reports what's really going on. Our mainstream media is bought and sold. Except for here, with Keith Olbermann.

Indeed shallow John McCain is a champion idiot.

He is also as sleazy, angry, ruthless, slimy and delusional as Rupert Murdoch the Shidduchmaker of Sarah Palin and John McCain arranged wedding.

Murdoch owns the Republican party and few Democrats to boot.

John and Sarah were only allowed to hang out together once, for half an hour, months before the happy day.

McCain's choice of Palin as a running mate for the presidency of the USA, is a capital crime against reason. Or should be.

In the US, Murdoch pays everybody to lie and repeat the lies, on his freaky reality show called Fox News. Then he runs them to control countries. Then he tells them how.

And if that's not organized crime, nothing else is.

On Tuesday the world will know much more about the sorry face and the limited intellectual capacity, of the man who terrorized politicians in many countries for decades and incited the US and UK governments into the Iraq war.

Many more shoes will drop. Oh happy days.

      Of course they do.

Murdoch's Fox news $22ml a year man is Roger Ailes, who invented Nixon's life philosophy of ignoring facts. The W in Watergate.

Ailes is Rush in the Limbaugh (pardon my French) friend and look alike. Only much bigger extraordinary mad pig

They are all in it together legalized mafia. They will do anything if the press lets them.

I believe The NY Times and the Washington Post in the US lead domestic reporting.

Thousands of stories are being published daily in 50 states and aired on TV and online.

But generally, the political clout and the fear from Murdoch in the US, has not diminished at all just yet.

I guess its up to us. Scream some more. Please.

On top a clips I made about Murdoch's Fox news sponsored crimes.

I was amazed also that Fareed Zakaria avoided mentioning the Murdoch Fall story on his CNN GPS show in the past two weeks. Its sad and curious.

Every journalist in the world should be engaged in fighting the evil scum that controls Wall street, Fleet street, 10 Downing street and had his own keys to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, when George W. Bush was told what to do for Rupert's family business, News Corp,
