The two in that video, speaking against Backmann, have no idea how foolish they behaved. --They do not understand Scripture, and their mocking is so foolish.

on Cnn they talk about her migraines like thats news, this woman is clearly INSANE, there must be some protection in the constitution from electing an insane person. If MSNBC or someone would just play this on the air it would finish her career. I hope they do soon.

She is praying. That's it. She is praying. I hear people pray like that every week. I don't personally like Bachman, and I don't agree with her ideas, but this is not even remotely creepy. She is praying. I'm sorry that I can't agree with most of the posts here, but of all the crazy things that she has said, this is a non-story.

The master, Jesus taught that we should pray in private. She is trying to get some sort of payoff for her 'prayer' that has nothing to do with religion or spirituality. It's like she is telling a ghost story to frighten children into doing exactly what she wants. It is not prayer and it is not healthy. Which makes me all the more concerned for all those foster children at her mercy.

It is, and it's disturbing that it's suddenly become the national consensus.
If, 30 years ago, people were told where America would be today, I think they might become physically sick.
Today it's as if people don't even *care* about extraordinary rendition or all of the other evil shit we do for no good reason at all.

I was raised in the Lutheran church, and would like to point out that there is a difference between doctrine that is taught, and doctrine that resides deep in the books. I was taught the reasons for the schism between Luther and the Catholics of his day, I was taught also that we were all Christians. This woman does not sound like a Lutheran overall. I could be way off because various synods have different approaches, but her obsession with the last days, gays, and abortions just doesn't sound familiar to me as a Lutheran. I think the church generally take a far more realistic view of life than that. I kind of veered off from the weirdness thing, but this is what struck me; my disappointment that she was a Lutheran, and church that I respect.

What did I say that you didn't believe? That I was raised in the Lutheran church? That Bachmann doesn't seem like she was raised in the same environment? That the Lutheran church is generally more moderate and mainstream than what she says, or that I am disappointed that she was a Lutheran? Please advise.

We are not " ALL" Christians...many do not believe in any Christian flavor even though some would have you believe the whole Country is a church.
