I agree. Praying for something nice is better than praying for the world to end.

The master, Jesus taught that we should pray in private. She is trying to get some sort of payoff for her 'prayer' that has nothing to do with religion or spirituality. It's like she is telling a ghost story to frighten children into doing exactly what she wants. It is not prayer and it is not healthy. Which makes me all the more concerned for all those foster children at her mercy.

What did I say that you didn't believe? That I was raised in the Lutheran church? That Bachmann doesn't seem like she was raised in the same environment? That the Lutheran church is generally more moderate and mainstream than what she says, or that I am disappointed that she was a Lutheran? Please advise.

We are not " ALL" Christians...many do not believe in any Christian flavor even though some would have you believe the whole Country is a church.
