English Defence League (EDL) leader interviewed on Newsnight about the tragic events in Norway

sbacker
The English Defence League (EDL) has defended claims that Anders Behring Breivik, who has admitted carrying out Friday's shooting and bomb attacks in Norway, had links to the organisation.

Breivik posted supportive messages about EDL online and claims to have had contact in the past with members of the organisation, but had distanced himself from them in his manifesto.

Jeremy Paxman interviews EDL leader Stephen Lennon - who also goes by the name of Tommy Robinson - on Newsnight about the recent tragic events in Norway.

    • Paxman is a great interviewer but goes out looking for a fight, he should give Robinson a chance to get a word in edge ways otherwise it isn't an interview at all.

Also if Robinsons views expressed are of a truthful nature i believe they do in fact replicate the British public's views and beliefs, of anti Islamic extremism

    • Tommy Robinson is a fool and does not represent the thoughts and feelings the majority of the British public hold. The EDL have extreme view and their peaceful protests resemble hooligans at a footy match. I find it easy to believe that Breivik had links to them.
Yes Jeremy Paxman, that did sound an awful lot like a threat.
