To submit to even Obama's plan is insane... they're manipulating the argument!

What we need to realize is that Obama's plan is still handing over our programs and government to private wealth. Last depression like this, Hoover didn't want to spend... let the market take care of it. We are repeating this even if the neo-libs (you know them as republicans) concede to Obama's option.
You've heard of the concept of high-balling a price when you bargain...THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE DOING, AND TELLING US THAT THEY'RE ACTUALLY DOING US A FUCKING FAVOR!!! - 10 months ago

I've always used opensecrets.org.
It's nice to have another source, too. Thanks for the link.

PoliticalAmazon:
http://www.opensecrets.org is a useful and reliable source, but I couldn't find any mention of it on the votesane page.
I know that http://www.politifact.com use it it because I found it cited as a source on an article about Michelle Bachmann.
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2011/jul/01/michele-bachmann/...
"Regarding the farm," Bachmann said. "The farm is my father-in-law’s farm. It’s not my husband’s and my farm. It’s my father-in-law’s farm and my husband and I have never gotten a penny of money from the farm."
The farm in question sits on 949 acres in Independence, Wis., and was operated by Bachmann's father-in-law, Paul Bachmann. The congresswoman told The Associated Press that her husband became a trustee of the farm because his father had dementia before he died in May 2009, and that her husband "oversees the legal entity."
However, records show the Bachmann Farm Family Limited Partnership was formed in 2001, and Rep. Bachmann and her husband have a stake in it. All of Rep. Bachmann's financial disclosure forms, filed with the Clerk of the House, list the Bachmann Farm Family LP as an asset of hers worth between $100,000 and $250,000.
Paul Bachmann received nearly $260,000 in farm subsidies between 1995 and 2007, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data compiled by the Environmental Working Group. The lion's share, about $250,000 of it, was corn and dairy program subsidies. There are no records of any crop subsidies after 2007
In the article it pits a link to opensecrets http://www.opensecrets.org/pfds/candlook.php?txtName=bachmann
But when I looked at the votesane page about Michelle Bachmann http://votesane.com/candidate/412216
What I found was this "2 October 29, 2010 9:43 am Rep Bachmann, keep the faith you will do great on Tuesday!! I am thankful we have common sense Representatives like you! Thank you for your very hard work and again good luck! Mark E. Lang"
How is that any kind of reliable source for putting more sanity back into voting?

From that video it doesn't seem very "sane" without verifiable factual information of the candidates. I didn't see any research on the sources like http://www.factcheck.org/ or http://www.politifact.com/ has so how"sane" could your vote be without any assurance of veracity?
All I found on the web page were hearsay opinions by members and links to editorials in the media. How is that promoting "votesane"when they just perpetuate the growing "insanity" of not being able to tell an opinion from a fact?
I was watching the TDS interview of Juan Williams and Jon Stewart came up with a great idea for a 24 hour news network that focuses on nothing but in-depth stories of government corruption.
Jon made the point that would be need to combat the "insanity" of pundits and politicians saying outrageous and repellent things just to get ratings and rewarded with donations from extremists. Since that type of attention grabbing outrageous behavior was memorable and drove the ratings up, it was rewarded by promotions and donations from the fringe that held those radical views.
To even begin to bring back "sanity" to the voting process, fact checking the candidates, positions, records, donors and backrounds must be a part of the strategy.
