There are alleged 12,800 cases of phone hacking attributed to Rupert Murdoch's News Corp in the UK. Civil lawsuits on this scale, could bankrupt News Corp and the Murdoch family.

Murdoch the "King of Tits" and the owner of the US Republican Tea Party, is also expected to face indictment on crimes that will send him to jail for the rest of his life.

In additions to Murdoch's admitted hacking, there are piling allegations of police bribes, hush payments, politicians extortion and destruction of evidence from News Corp computers - all in the realm of massive mafia-style racketeering - thus their decades of illicit profits, could be confiscated by governments.

And while Murdoch's lieutenant Roger Ailes, Fox News "lying machine", leads the efforts to shill the crimes of their godfather-owner, hundreds of investigators in the UK and US participate in at least ten separate criminal probes.

The FBI, CIA, Scotland Yard, MI-5, have assembled special task forces to deal with the ever-growing scope of the Murdochgate investigation.

There is even worse news for Murdoch. Thousands of highly-motivated journalists, are thrilled to expose Murdoch's crimes against their profession as its vividly-painted in the documentary film Outfoxed.

Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's Fox News war against journalism, provides an in-depth look at Fox News and the dangers of ever-enlarging corporations taking control of the public's right to know.

    • Bankrupt New Corp. The kind of political shenanigans (crimes) committed by Rupert Murdoch has bankrupted our country, morally and physically. Along with crimes of hacking Americans, he has spun the rest with distorted reporting.

It's time to let News Corp. go bankrupt and bring back truth in America, based on facts, not the spin of those who chose to mislead the masses for political gain.

    • hey Jon
your sensational piece on Murdoch has the all the flavor and
earmark of a good Enquirer piece

all the news that's fit fit fit to print

did you do the image banner for the story?
in all, good stuff (for the supermarket tabloid rack)

      *back in the day
      i collected enquirer cover pictures
i even had the fantasy of working for the paper
being in on the "brain bash" meetings for cover headlines and images
how fun would that have been!

Rupert Murdoch is the biggest crook on Earth.

The facts in the story I wrote speak for themselves and no claims of sensationalism can change that.

And its wonderful, that at last, there is nothing Fox News, nor the Murdochs can do about it, but shake in their underwear, for fear that the police is coming to arrest them.

Yes, I did the "banner" as well. It was a part of a video series I made about the lies and bigotry of Fox News during the past few years.

Rupert Murdoch "Fair and Balanced" protectionism, is the reason banks are raping America, rich people do not pay taxes and people who got sick and couples with new born babies, are told that their health insurance policies are cancelled.

Without the Fox News bullies, we would have never gone to war against Iraq.

Rupert Murdoch political influence in the US and his thuggery are facts as well.

I am proud to be called name such as "sensationalist" by the Murdoch PR machine. It means that I am getting through at last.

I hope they are mad as hell.

    • This - homogenizing of the Murdoch News Corp scandal, Koch Bros tea bagger radical right, professional Republican politician recipe - is a golden opportunity for an investigative reporter to make an indelible mark in history. Uncover the story of the century.

What about the revolving door of Presidential candidates, and faux candidates, parading through Fox "News?"

What about Americans For Hypocrisy (although, they claim "For Prosperity") sending fraudulent voting forms and times to Democratic voters in Wisconsin, with funding from the Koch Bros (among others)?

What about elected legislators using a corporate-big-money-funded source (ALEC) for writing laws?

There is a much bigger picture here than just Mr Murdoch and his venomous cronies, although he certainly deserves his day(s) in court (in the defendant's chair). There is an organized and multi-fronted effort to subvert and/or circumvent our American government. The crossroads for the paths each of the corporate bosses travel, are the professional Republican politicians.

America is pissed. Everyone I know, regardless of political affiliation, is pissed (your milage may vary on that, but it *is* the case with my friends). People are ready to stand up and do what is necessary to reinstate a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Corporations are not people, and the SCOTUS saying otherwise does NOT change the self-evident fact that Corporations are NOT people.

I'm serious. An investigative reporter has the opportunity of a lifetime, to step in, strip the facts bare, disseminate those facts to the US and world citizenry, and show America and the world what is going on behind the curtain.

For any serious investigative reporter, this is the perfect storm.

I hope one, or better yet many, will heed the call of our world's cry for truth and fact. We can make good decisions when we know the facts. Keeping the facts from us is what the PR side of this radical right wing secular (no matter how Christian they claim to be) unholy invasion is about.

Mr/Ms Honest Investigative Reporter, show the world the facts, the true facts. We need a hero, and that could be you.

Thanks for your many precise observations. Yet again.

World media ignored Murdoch's criminal shenanigans for decades, because they were scared of him. This is a fact.

It was the brave action of The Guardian's reporter Nick Davies and the paper's editor in chief, Alan Rusbridger that broke Murdochgate.

The New York time was called in by The Guardian eventually, because of the tremendous pressure from politicians and the police to kill the story in the UK

The Los Angeles Times has a great account of the events: Reporter Nick Davies and editor Alan Rusbridger didn't give up on the biggest journalistic story ever.

I do believe, as the Murdoch scandal/investigation grows, more and more people will come forward. I know we see that happening already, but I mean on a much MUCH larger scale, and from surprising places, both in the U.S. and around the world.

Some of them have/will come forward, perhaps, feeling more free to do so as the scope of the investigation and scandal escalates, and they feel less threatened by Mr Murdoch's tentacles. Some may come forward as they are presented with very clear choices, and coming forward with the truth becomes the lesser of the evils. And, I am sure, others will have different motivations.

As for bankrupting News Corp and Mr Murdoch, I could see that happening, too, *if* we are lucky enough to have tenacious investigative reporters persistently and doggedly pursuing the truth and facts.

The damage already done to News Corp is massive. But as outsiders to News Corp and outside the Koch Bros reach continue to unwrap the facts, it may become obvious to investors in News Corp shares, that promoting from within changes the faces only, not the policies. The beginning stages of that News Corp "inside revolt" may already be sprouting. News Corp investors may be faced with decisions created by News Corps' karma, which may force the investors to first, become hostile as a self-defense mechanism, and then, to bail out completely, "Abandon ship! Save yourself." Were this to happen, the share price of News Corp would plummet, but News Corp could still survive... maybe. It would take a massive amount of fines and community service, hopefully.

Were News Corp to clear out *all* upper management (which would necessarily include the Board Of Directors), and replace them with outsiders whose reputations are knight-in-shining-armor unblemished, sell off all their media interests, they may have a chance to save the company. But right now, they are fighting some intense inertia against them in that regard.

If this whole thing were not so sad and disruptive for so many innocent - innocent being outside of News Corp, and not affiliated with them in any way - people, and had not already left so many victims scattered bleeding along the way, it would be fun to watch. But the destruction already caused by Mr Murdoch, and News Corp, and Fox "News" and the rest, is real. It has happened. It is sickening.

All the facts of what has happened need to be brought to light. It is the only way I can see (someone else probably has eyes better than mine in seeing how we could constructively move pass this mess, I'm sure) to put the brutality and deceit of the Murdoch and right wing wackos behind us, in a manner through which we learn exactly what happened, how it happened, and how we can prevent it from happening again.

If we have only learned one thing through this, so far, I hope it is that NO one person or one company can ever again have this much control over so much media. We can thank the Republicans for de-regulating that, too, which helped open this stinking can of worms.

Once again the world must come along after pouting Republicans, and clean up more of the mess they have left behind.

I don't think he will spend a day in jail, but I do hope he spends a lot of his wealth on legal fees and spends his time building a defense, instead of tearing our country apart. It's time to watch those who spin his crimes. Distorting instead of reporting is legal, but it's immoral.

Accountability and shame! Shame, shame, shame!
