I have no idea why they weren't convicted of murder. Once again justice denied.

I read that although they were convicted, they weren't convicted of murder. Now, maybe they will be sentenced to go to prison for a lengthy time but they still got off without the label of "murderer" pinned to them. Maybe it's just semantics and maybe it isn't. I think if it was one of my loved ones who was killed, I would feel diminished by this verdict.

When assassins are allowed a plea bargin I wouldn't call that a system that works, but at least they didn't get off scot free.
Hopefully they'll be put in general population after awhile and the prisons own form of justice will take place. - 10 months ago

See kids, sometimes the system actually does work.
This was a horrible tragedy performed by people in supposed trusted positions who used an catastrophic event to act like hoodlums.

Well it's about time. These officers should be strung up for what they did to those people. Killing a 17 year old kid and a 40 year old retarded man, I bet they felt real proud of themselves. "To Serve and Protect", that phrase is laughable coming from the NOPD. For anyone who's not familiar with the case of the "Danziger Seven", here's a good article which gives an overview of what happened.
