I was kind of disappointed in Obama's speech. I really really wanted him to come out and say, you got what you wanted, Republicans, and the country isn't quite as stupid as you want them to be. Now lets do it the right way. I want Obama to spell out the road to recovery and to be as hard ass in his vision as the Republicans are, because that is what we want, and frankly what we need. Why do we always say, we see what you're doing to these Republicans but never fight back with the same passion and hard line that they do? I'm tired of my party continuously acting like we're going to take the higher road. We are not on the higher road, we're riding behind the oxcart carrying the Republicans, eating their dust and stepping around their crap! Why do we keep asking them for their ideas. Their ideas have been the same for many decades, f--the working class. There are way more of us than them, why do they ever get to make the rules. We are supposed to be the ones they represent, but I don't feel like my interests are being taken into account. Where does one go to be heard? I hear the politicians saying that they listen to the voice of America, noone I have spoken with has said that they think the poor and middle class should pay more and the rich should be shielded from paying taxes. Someone give me some idea of what to do to be heard.
