"The rent is too damn low!" Jimmy McMillan (RTDH Party candidate) evicted from his apartment

Jimmy McMillan of "The rent is to damn high party" has been evicted from his rent controlled Manhattan apartment. What's the reason? The rent was too damn low! The managers of the unit want the man out so they can raise the rent and over charge someone in the community for a place to sleep.

McMillan was paying under $900 ($872) a month for his humble Manhattan abode, which is way below the current rent standards in the area. The average housing cost in the area is $3,500 a month. Take a look for yourself and see if you can find a home you can afford in the neighborhood.
