Preconditioning for the ALIEN INVASION HOAX!

If I understand the Current Community correctly, we are not just a news story forwarding service. We are a community of like minded, and some not so like minded people who post items of interest that we often will never see in the corporate media.
In that vein I would like to express my own observations and feelings about a media trend that I find very disturbing. I expect to get flak for this indulgence from the professional and semi pro debunkers that troll sites like ours, but frankly, I don't care, these are my personal observations, so you decide for yourself.

The media/propaganda industry is an integrated, coordinated complex of TV, movie, print and of course, advertising entities, that do one thing very well. They influence how we feel and how we percieve the world we live in. Through the use of seemingly benign entertainment they tell us what clothes are hot, what car will get us laid, and what new electronic gadget or hair style is a must have. One other, not so benign thing they tell us is who our latest enemy is.

Throughout the 1950's, 60's and early 70's, we were shown a barrage of Communist villians on both the big and little screen. While we never saw them outside our window, we were convinced that they were right over the horizon, and the only thing between us and them was an ever expanding Defense industry. and we believed it.

But after the death,blood and ultimate debacle of Vietnam. we weren't so sure that the "Red Menace" was really so menaceing.
Time for the propaganda machine to create a new enemy.

In the late 70's and escalating through the 80's and 90's, We were show gradually increasing images of bad guys as swarthy, bearded,fanatics who hated us for our freedom.
Once again, we never saw them but we knew they were right over the horizon because that's what we were told, and only the Defense industry stood between us and them.
When 9/11 happened,we were totally conditioned to believe it when we were told who did it, even thhough the dust hadn't settled at ground zero,yet. Of course, Arab Terrorists did it, just like in the movies.

During the 90's a new trend was quietly starting in the propaganda/ media industry. It didn't start with "Independece Day", but that's as good a place as any.

Fast forward to 2011.
The hot trend in movies and TV right now is "Alien Invasion!"

I have been a movie buff for my entire 65 years. I watch just about everything with a special interest in science fiction, and after a while you can't help seeing patterns in plot devices.
I can only surmise that after 10 years of a pointless multifront war,an unbelieveable increase in the wealth and power of the Elite class and the Military/ Security/Prison/Industrial Complex plus a looming, manufatured Depression, it has been decided that it's time to wrap up the "Arab Terrorist" scenerio.
So, all df a sudden, we "get" Osama bin Laden, even though we have no real evidence to verify it, and sorry, but we dumped his body in the ocean just like the bad guy Transformers,only this body ain't coming back. You know, like in the movie. and another 9/11 loose end tied up, and totally believeable because we saw it in the movies.

So, here we are, soon to be with out an acceptable enemy, but fear not, for the conditioning started on you years ago and has been escalating right up to the present.
When the day comes that you wake up to the "shocking" news that we are under attack by space aliens, you will be prepped to swallow it hook line and sinker.

I don't expect you to simply believe me, but instead I hope you will check it out for yourself.
Nothing would make me happier than to find out that I got it all wrong, and peace will reign when we bring home the troops, but for now...I'm just going to wait and see.
If it does happen, remember what von Braun said. No matter how real it looks on TV,...IT'S ALL A LIE!
