Oh ye of little faith, doth thou not knowest thine creator needeth 10 percent of thine wealth so his holiness may bestow his blessings upon thine sheeple? Nay sayers and freeth thinkers shall suffer an eternity of pain in a fiery laketh of despair and isolation(eth)!!!
Pope Benedict XVI, a man who says he has a direct connection to God and has the ability to prevent souls from entering into a place called heaven after they die, has arrived in Madrid for a week long stay where thousands of young gullible humans will come to get a glimpse of God's spokesman. The trip is estimated to cost up to $50 million euro, a good amount of which will be funded by the cash strapped citizen funded government that has faced major unrest in recent months over the lack of good judgment of government officials and poor quality of life for the citizens, caused by a lack of money.
“It’s absurd how much has been spent. I get my salary cut and the government’s spends a fortune in this,” says Maia, a nurse who didn’t want to give her last name to a reporter for The Christian Science Monitor. “It’s fine that the Pope comes, but not if we pay for it.”
